Please help me. i have sent all my documents to my sponsor approx 1 month ago.now he has to pay the fees.all of our documents are complete but today i saw on cic website that they have changed the photo specification.my application is almost complete what should i do should i send the forms as it is or should i take new photos?

To be on a safe side, take new photos matching the new specification.

Also ensure all your forms are up to date before sending.

Turbo2000 is correct...there are a bunch of us that are now down to the finish line and have had to submit new photos...we are lucky, we couriered them to LA @ a cost of $42 dollars for overnight and were advised today that the visa is on its way and they provided a tracking number...

I was also thinking about this option because i dont want to waste any other time already the courier takes upto 10 days so i was thinking that meanwhile the process of sponsor approval is going i will send new photo and once the file is transferred to VO i will send the photos to visa office..and for now i will write an explanation that since i completed the forms one month ago so i am sending the photos on old pattern.the new photos will be send soon. is it ok?

So this means i should not send the application now unless i get the right photos?

Get the right photos for your own peace of mind.

If you are worried about the delay send your application FEDEX overnight.

Ok thank you, that clears that up perfectly!

Sorry, I assumed you were applying outland because you mentioned 2 checklists. There is in fact only one for inland applications. Maybe that's why your husband is going crazy? ;D But, you still only need to provide one copy of each document.

@ Sunset0505 +1 for you.

Congratulations !

Hello Everyone,
I'm sure each of you going through one or the other immigration procedure and Best of luck to all your efforts!!
I'm one among you but seeking some advice on my immigration process.
I have an open work permit valid for 9 more months. My husband is already a PR. I applied for PR under Inland spousal sponsorship category 3 months back from Alberta. We recently moved to Quebec because of my job. Although Quebec is a beautiful province, we are not planning to settle in Quebec for few reasons. My work permit is going to expire in 9 months so I'm planning to apply for work permit extension.
1. But I'm not sure if I have to apply for a bridging open work permit(BOWP) or Spousal work permit and When do I apply for it?
2. If I apply for a Quebec health card, will it affect my immigration process in any way?
3. Should I inform CIC about my address change along with the reason of temporary stay in Quebec?
Any clue about any of these, is going to help me a lot.
Thank you !!

You don't have to do them upfront, you can wait for them to request it. If his VO will be New Delhi, try asking on that thread if it's better to do upfront (meaning before you send in the application) or wait.

In my mind it is always better to do them upfront as it reduces delays.

You need to contact a panel physician in his area for an appointment.

Hi,i am working on my application. After filling out form IMM5490E (Sponsored spouse/partner questionnaire) i am wondering about what i should provide as additional details of our current relationship that would help to prove that our relationship is genuine and continuing.

So far we got 50 pictures developed showing us in our relationship with friends and family of our wedding honeymoon.plus screen shots of viber and skype and details of joint bank account plus my husband bank account statement that i am operating in my city.

Is there anything else we should include in our application? Right now i cannot think of anything else since it feels like i answered all relationship related questions.
