Hey guys, thanks so much for your responses!
I never thought about how true that is "best behavior" I know I surely was, but it doesn't mean I was not being genuine or whatever, just wanted to enjoy my time with him.

He knows how "crazy" I can be sometimes, always blames it on my "girl-ness" as he says. Haha.

Once again thank you guys so much! I'm so excited! but I'm also trying to keep expections at a minimum.

haha we don't want to scare you to have minimum expectations! You should have high expectations - that is why you want to live with him! And it will be great to be together all the time. Just know that with the great times, there will be some bad times (hopefully very few). Like when you/he is tired or sick or had a bad day at work, etc and his/your mood and appearance may not be the best during those times. This is normal but sometimes I see very young couples who are not ready for it and get upset too easily by it because they are naive. I think you have a good attitude about it so far. Good luck!

Two tips I wished someone had told me in the early stages of living together after a LDR:
1. No matter how well you know someone long-distance, living together is when you really get to know each other. Don't make presumptions about each other.
2. Don't let communication slip. Long distance you were probably sharing thoughts, feelings, and telling each other about all kinds of things. Keep doing that when you are physically together. If you find that you don't talk to each other in depth the way you used to before you were together physically there's nothing wrong with keeping the online chats/emails/etc going, even if you are in the same house.

If your partner is moving into "your place" then let them change some things to suit their own sense or order. Ultimately it would be best for the both of you to find a place together but that is seldom a choice at the start.

I was renovating my house when I met the woman who would become my wife. When our relationship became permanent I stopped renovating so she would have a chance to put her own imprint on the house.

Although my wife is my wife and I am her husband the most important thing is that we are friends and we relate that way. I have no expectation that she will do all the "wifey" things or I will do all the "husbandy" things. We help each other with all the chores regardless. In 2013 housework is not gender specific.

Seriously? You choose to ignore ALL the advice and help from people on here, and yet you come back for more? ::)

You're already there, Baby1990, already there.

But to answer your question, I thought you had said earlier that CIC had already processed the withdrawal of the application, and if that's true, don't expect any kind of decision from CIC - there's nothing left to decide. And CIC doesn't respond to queries and requests in an efficient or helpful way when you've sent in a normal, complete application with no red flags, and at this point your application has more red flags than a Red Army parade passing through Red Square, so I wouldn't expect a quick response to any queries.

Also, I doubt you've messed up your parents' or your own PR - there's nothing illegal or wrong about withdrawing a sponsorship application. It is, in fact, what you are supposed to do if your relationship ends or you discover it was entered into by your spouse principally for immigration purposes. But if you relationship didn't actually end, and was just going through a rough patch, you've definitely made it much, much more difficult to sponsor your husband in the future if you decide to. Whoops!

So, it sounds like you are done with family class sponsorship for the moment, but you still need to focus on getting your life together, if that's possible. Stop thinking about immigration and focus on your personal life.

Well said sir, another thing you can do is that please contact your MP and asked for assistant as they can assist you in much much easier and quick way. They can contact the office and inquire on behalf of you. Let them know that it is very urgent and they can guide you. Please go and visit them not 1's but until your problem is solved or you get an answer from them. Also, asked for GCM notes for you or order them yourself to see any information they have provided for your case.

This is the only help that we can suggest you as there is nothing we can do or you can do that will make them understand the situation you are in. They will just ignore your request as they think they have other things to attend to.

Good luck.

I would strongly disagree that Baby1990's case is urgent. CIC does have other, more important things to attend to. Both Baby1990 and her husband are residing in Canada, and both have immigration status that allows them to remain there for the moment. They can see each other, live together, and are not under threat of imminent removal or loss of immigration status. There are plenty of people who are living apart from each other whose applications are much more pressing, and scarce processing resources shouldn't be spent on non-urgent cases (and, with all due respect, nothing could be more non-urgent than a status update on a case that has been voluntarily withdrawn). Contacting the MP is inappropriate for the same reason. Contacting your MP makes sense when CIC is delaying unreasonably, but in Baby1990's case, CIC hasn't done anything unreasonable - she's the one who has created her stressful situation. Ordering the GCMS notes is the right approach to get a full and detailed explanation of the status of the application. It will take about 30 days and is free because you're in Canada, and ordering notes will not slow anyone else's processing.
