Agreed, and I wouldn't encourage her to bring everything she owns. She doesn't own much anyway that she would want to bring here. It's confusing, but you are allowed to come to Canada to apply for permanent residence, but you have to also satisfy the visiting requirements. It's called "dual intent".
Another two question then. Can you legally change your name as a PR? Which she would want to do after we got married. Also, when we apply inland, can we also apply for an open work permit at the same time?
