Yes, she'll fully be able to leave the country and not jeopardize her application. There's always the risk with reentering Canada that she might be denied entry, but since she has a PR application in process that's a very small risk. CBSA is normally pretty lenient on people who are visa-exempt with a PR application in process. Even if she is ever denied entry the PR application will proceed unaffected.Mark+D said:Alright sounds good! If she ends up needing an interview then she will have to go to Los Angeles, but that's fairly rare. As long as you have a strong application with minimal red flags you shouldn't need one.
If she wants to cross between the US and Canada frequently then you should look into getting her a Visitor Record one of the times she reenters Canada. I don't have any experience with this, but several members have asked a CBSA officer for a VR and have been successful. Some officers have even told people that they are allowed to say they are living in Canada with it, but they can't work or study.
