I had requested LVO to process my wife's application on priority because she is expecting but they have emailed me today which is pasted as below.
I need experts' advice that should I contact the local MP or it would be useless to do so? Please follow my time line for further information.

Yeah unfortunately that reason doesn't work. There people here with actual kidz who are waiting for there file to complete or are in interview queue so its tough.

The application is always linked with the Principal Applicant's information along with the information CIC sent you in the AOR.

Also just a heads up, make sure you note ALL the secret questions and answers you set while making the mycic account, because whenever you login to mycic its going to ask any of those questions randomly (even if you enter your password correctly). This is their way of making sure that the correct person is logging in.

So I'm preparing the package, but the number of pages is coming out to be a lot ~ 130

- chat history ~ 70 pages (this is reduction from around 500 based on the export).
- call logs ~ 25 (screenshots from whatsapp)
- trip pictures ~15 (1 picture per page)
- Boarding passes ~ 3
- ticket ~ 2
- Payment support ~4
- Cover letter 1

Putting it all in PDF comes to around 3MB. Do you guys think the page count is fine? I know the count seems higher; however, I don't see how can it be reduced. I will be submitting it through CSE and printouts will be mailed to LVO as well.

Thoughts?

i am also planing to send them some proofs like skype, Facebook etc..... Some one suggest me send email all pdfs to LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca and also mail printed things to LVO.

I got my documents back but I only got back certificates including my husbands educational, our marriage, and his bith certificate. We didn't get back anything else not even his original transcripts. Do they send them in parts? I heard some people even got back the pictures they sent. So just wondering will they be sending everything else later?

Nope they keep most pics. And written documentation on file.
Did the documents come on the applicants address or sponsors Canadian address?

Anyone of you can mail it. also attach a cover letter with ur app info and what you are sending.

FYI to all the members emailing me for status update.

Guys, thanks for reaching out. I'm still awaiting an interview date from CIC. Last time I had received my notes in December, and it only stated that we are in the interview queue. No mention of when to schedule. I will not be ordering notes, until I have an interview date scheduled.

I've talked to my MP who's given me the same status update of still awaiting interview date, which I had already known from my GCM notes. MP said they will do monthly checks from now on. Does that make any difference? Definitely not, but will let them do their part.

That's all I have. Hoping that the new Immigration Minister will have any updates/changes for us who are stuck from 2015 and earlier. And make it easier processing for 2016 applicants and beyond.
