FYI to all the members emailing me for status update.

Guys, thanks for reaching out. I'm still awaiting an interview date from CIC. Last time I had received my notes in December, and it only stated that we are in the interview queue. No mention of when to schedule. I will not be ordering notes, until I have an interview date scheduled.

I've talked to my MP who's given me the same status update of still awaiting interview date, which I had already known from my GCM notes. MP said they will do monthly checks from now on. Does that make any difference? Definitely not, but will let them do their part.

That's all I have. Hoping that the new Immigration Minister will have any updates/changes for us who are stuck from 2015 and earlier. And make it easier processing for 2016 applicants and beyond.

Does it mention anywhere "file held for London pilot project?"

Never heard before that's a new one!. Is it on your notes?

well they might be considering new mode of processing files in london,so this particular file is held for initial review of the system in which they are going to evaluate the new system before finally launching it

At the sponsors address I had sent them an email requesting them to be sent to Canadian address.

guys my wife just changed her house (this was before i applied so in the application its the new address)
my question is that when applying for a police certificate would she need it for only the current address or the previous address as well?

At the sponsors address I had sent them an email requesting them to be sent to Canadian address.

Hey guys,

so I finally received my notes today and went through the 40-page document and everything seems to be fine and showing passed except for SECURITY that doesn't show whether it's passed or not and also my files location shows PUT AWAY. also under application assignment its has a due date of Jab 2017 don't know what that means.

I have been to my MP and he told me the same thing that my file is showing at the last stage of security and after that it will be PPR but it's been over a month since I saw my MP and last correspondence I received was back in May 2016 for re-medical.

Any input? Is there anything specific i should look at in notes?

Also when it ask 'Did you submit a paper application to an office outside Canada' do I pick yes or no? I sent my application to Mississauga but its an outland application and my visa office is London

Hey guys. I have a question. How long does it take to pass security/criminality? When you have lived 3 countries? My husband had interview in Nov. I received gcm notes today and it shows eligibility passed. But visa officer sent me email that background check is in queue to be assessed. How long does it take?

Yes the link is correct. I used the following steps for sending a case specific query (others please tell if its correct)

1)Have you submitted an application for PR: YES
2)Did you submit a paper application to an office OUTSIDE of Canada: YES
3)Select the visa office where you sent your application: UNITED KINGDOM-LONDON
4)Proceed to Web Form

Second working week of the new year coming to an end and we have no news of any new files the LVO has started to work on. Only those who got DMs in Dec got PPRs in the new year. First the holiday season and now this.
