Quick question regarding PCC (sorry, for being off topic, but I needed the answer from fellow countrymen)

So, I've lived in Lahore for 18 years, Karachi for 6 years, and Islamabad for 4 years and currently in Islamabad.

Where should I get PCC from? or does it not matter at all?

Hi.

The new application package (applicable post Dec 7, 2016) doesnt require upfront PCC and medical. These will be asked at a later stage.
i am not 100% sure but i think you need PCC from all places where you lived after turning 18.

I know they'd ask after ITA/ getting 'application package', but just to be prepared and make sure everything is ready, I was thinking of getting my PCC from Pakistan.

Now, every where else I've read you only need one pcc from one country, irrespective of number of cities/states you've changed.

How have people been going about it on this thread? anyone?

u need PCC from every city where you used to live more than 6 months after 18 years of age. Because Pakistan doesnot have any centralized police data centre (like FBI) so you need PCC from every city.

She is Canadian PR and came to Pakistan on 1st September 2016.

Also what the new new requirement of stay in Canada for citizenship?

Thanks Landing_PR for sharing the details. Did you send some additional documents after receiving the GCMS notes to address the visa officer concerns to get rid from the interview queue? or It is useless trying it?

Thanks AsadA. I've tried everything, even wrote an email explaining their concerns, gave a timeline of our relationship, almost everything under the sun. CIC responded that while they understand everything, we can't be removed or waived from the interview as the officer feels that an interview is required.

It's really useless to try to get yourself off the interview list as this will make them more curious as to why you're pushing so hard.

under application assignment its says assigned to gs9205 ia that what you were referring to?

guys my wife just changed her house (this was before i applied so in the application its the new address)
my question is that when applying for a police certificate would she need it for only the current address or the previous address as well?

If its in the same city it doesn't PCC doesn't really matter. However, you have to notify CIC of the change in address if you put the old one on the forms
