Read the forum
There are couple of other applicants who read the same thing in their notes "file is held for London Pilot project".

A PR can travel outside of Canada while they have applied for a spouse visa but they should mainly live in Canada. In my opinion, they should not stay outside of the Canada for long time. (In my opinion going to Pakistan for 4/5 weeks should be OK)

A lawyer at armstrong law (firm in Edmonton) told me i can leave for as long as I want as long as i have a valid PR and it will not impact my application. Really confused :S I have a young daughter and its hard for her to not meet her father for so long

I have seen couple of members on this forum who shared this reason for refusal (PR Sponsor living outside Canada). You can google about the subject.
In my experience, often the lawyers don't have sufficient knowledge.

You are 100% correct.

Currently, LVO is processing July 2016 applications and you are a September applicant. Face the hard time for 2-3 more months.

Don't forget if they get a weak point they can put the application in the interview queue.
July 2015 applicants are appearing for the interview now. Many applicants who appeared for the interview in November 2016 are still waiting for the decision. You can imagine how messy this interview queue is.
Decision is yours. I will suggest not to give them any weak point.
This is my opinion, you can disagree.

Thank you for your reply. In your experience, how fast do you think they are moving on applications? If they are processing July now, is it fair to assume that my application will be processed sometime in Feb?

Also, do you think there is any value in updating information such as new pictures of family, proof of financial assistance from husband, daughter school record. Or should i just wait for the immigration officer to ask about it when they open my application?

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone can help me please? I applied spouse application in Sep 2012, and today after 4 years of agony finally I am been asked to submit passport to the CHC-London ASAP for visa processing. Great News However, there is a trouble. I am living in UK and my passport is with UK home office for extension. If I withdraw my UK application then I have go back to Pakistan, and send my passport to CHC.

Anyone knows how many days given by CHC to submit passport, and if you don't submit in given time what will happen then?

People have different opinions about sending additional documents. You sent your application package just 4 months ago. If you have something new that is significantly different from what you sent previously, it can be sent. But, re sending the old stuff will not change much.

If you have applied for a spouse visa. She should not live in Pakistan, it can result in a refusal of the visa. Such cases have been refused previously. Check the spreadsheet 2015.

To Maintain the PR status, one needs to be physically present in Canada for 730 days in 5 years

Bro I asked about Citizenship requirement but you are confusing it with PR Card Obligations!!!!

For maintaining PR card!!!
you must have been physically present in Canada for a minimum of 730 days within the past five (5) years.

To qualify for citizenship there are tow rules.
1- physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years
2- there should be 4 years with minimum 183 days/year
