Hi Guys,

Another question I have is regarding my account with cic. For i dont know what reason i am not able to connect my file with the account. Do i need to signup for this at this stage, if yes WHat am I missing here, i have tried all combinations of identity fields.

thanks,
Azhar

Only PA will be able to link application to their account, not the Sponsor.

1. Log in with GC Key account.
2. Permanent Residence > Family Class (Spouses)
2. Application Number and Family Name - Copy/pasted application number from email (including the F) and entered PA's last name.
3. City of Birth - I entered 1 space (hit spacebar once)
4. Country of Birth - Selected PA's country of birth
5. Passport Info - Did not enter any passport info
6. Other Application Info - Filled out the other application info as per our application and put '2' as the number of members in the application. 1 sponsor, 1 PA, no dependents.

Thanks,
Do you know if its mailed to the address on file or emailed or is there any other way i should expect it?

If PA has linked their application to mycic, they will receive it in mycic account, otherwise PA will receive PPR on their email address.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

got our documents back. waited about a month after my wife got her PPR. looks like they shredded/discarded most of the proof of relationship such as chat logs, call logs, pictures, wedding cards.

p.s. i thought i'd hang around the forum and help out after my wife and i were done with this process, but i might be busy for a while, so i'm going to take a back seat for now. i'll still be lurking around but will not as active as i was before. to the members that send me PMs every day, just be aware that i might not be able to respond quickly ;). in fact, it would be better if instead of PMing you posted your questions in this thread. there's always someone willing to help. :)

Hi,

If you find a specific place to upload the photographs then you can upload there. For example they asked me to provide 5562 and when I opened the account it was specifically showing that upload 5562 etc. Once I uploaded the file it started showing "Provided" instead of required.

Thanks..

tThanks for reply.

Replacement overdue digital photo (required) upload file

this is how written there i am just curious as they have received my mail, should i still upload it? do u think its ok if i upload

Added you to the spreadsheet. Your wife should be getting PPR very soon, please update us when she receives it. :)

Received the PPR letter today by email November 16th.
Will cic be sending the COPR along with the the visa/ passport return?
When and how can i expect my wives original documents to be returned?

thanks,
Azhar

Congratulations! Spreadsheet updated!
Total time to process was 5.5 months MA!What did you do with your application?!
Yes, COPR will be received with passport.
Original documents are returned to the Pak or Canadian address after/ during finalisation of application. Best way is to inquire with CIC through CSE.

Thanks Guys,

1 more question, my wife will be submitting her passport to the Islamabad office, does she need to take the two pictures with her or the VFC office will take the pictures?

As for what I did: it was looking pretty dark up until last week as we applied for a visitor visa for my wife to come visit me in September and it got denied, siting that she may not return to Pakistan. That process familiarized us with the VFC office :)
But after this decision i was planning to move to Pakistan until her case was finalized but looks like this is not required anymore :)

Our application: We put a lot of time and effort in putting together our application. I hired Alison consultants in Islamabad to put together our application and they charged RS 85,000. However there work was average at best. This did give me a great starting point to work with, from here i kept reviewing the application. Also I was able to show very strong ties with my wife as i was visiting Pakistan for 5 to 6 months each year until the time we got married this feb. During my trips to Pakistan we spent lots of time together and took trips to dubai and thailand. We couldn't marry earlier as i was going through a separation and divorce here which was finalized in January this year.
So a very complete application with lots of proof, with my caller id records i was even able to show them the first time i called my wife. I guess they liked that we had a strong relationship before our wedding and we were able to prove that.

Hope this helps feel free to ask me any questions, I know this is a tough time for all of us and may Allah make it easy!

Can you please rub some of your good luck on my profile which is directly linked to my application? ;)

Thanks! :P

luck was on his side. if he had applied a few months earlier, he most likely would've had to wait longer because LVO never works at a consistent pace. with that said, having a complete and straightforward application does shorten your wait by 1-2 months.

regardless, i'm very glad to see fellow pakistani applicants getting quick turnaround with their apps.
