Thanks Guys,
1 more question, my wife will be submitting her passport to the Islamabad office, does she need to take the two pictures with her or the VFC office will take the pictures?
As for what I did: it was looking pretty dark up until last week as we applied for a visitor visa for my wife to come visit me in September and it got denied, siting that she may not return to Pakistan. That process familiarized us with the VFC office
But after this decision i was planning to move to Pakistan until her case was finalized but looks like this is not required anymore
Our application: We put a lot of time and effort in putting together our application. I hired Alison consultants in Islamabad to put together our application and they charged RS 85,000. However there work was average at best. This did give me a great starting point to work with, from here i kept reviewing the application. Also I was able to show very strong ties with my wife as i was visiting Pakistan for 5 to 6 months each year until the time we got married this feb. During my trips to Pakistan we spent lots of time together and took trips to dubai and thailand. We couldn't marry earlier as i was going through a separation and divorce here which was finalized in January this year.
So a very complete application with lots of proof, with my caller id records i was even able to show them the first time i called my wife. I guess they liked that we had a strong relationship before our wedding and we were able to prove that.
Hope this helps feel free to ask me any questions, I know this is a tough time for all of us and may Allah make it easy!
