kinda stupid that they're calling you for an interview when you have children with your wife.

did your gcms notes give a reason for the interview? and can you show us what they asked for in your doc request from november 2015?

yes i shall send you notes when my internet is ok bcz i need to ask some information from you about this interview bcz i sent them more than 600 chat pages and in notes he asked more then after my wife and daughter stay here in pakistan on this march for a month i sent them 40 pics with my wife daughter they asked when my daughter was born and i was in uk why i didnt visited or they didnt visted to me that the Question

Do we need translation of those documents issued by Nadra? I mean they have English written against Urdu.

Did you guys provide translation of Nadra issued Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate ?

i didn't provide separate translation of nadra issued birth certificate because it was in both english and urdu and you don't need to send nadra issued marriage certificate you need to send urdu nikah namma and translation from a certified translator.

So what happens if you can't make it to Islamabad for the interview (no vacation, can't travel etc)? Can they make you do an interview in Canada/UK/Telephonic etc? Or there's no choice but to go to Islamabad?

A few months ago they asked a guy to come to London for interview as he was living in Greece but he replied that I need visa for UK then they said then you will need to come to Islamabad for interview.

They will just reschedule it which means more delays. Assuming 95% of the applicants are in Pakistan (very few from UAE or those living with sponsor in Canada and applied outland) , they should have no reason not to be able to attend. For sponsors, I've gathered from this forum that it is good to accompany their spouse but in case they can't, they will be contacted over the phone, if at all.

i didn't provide separate translation of nadra issued birth certificate because it was in both english and urdu and you don't need to send nadra issued marriage certificate you need to send urdu nikah namma and translation from a certified translator.

We did not submit certified English translation. we had two copies of nikkah nama: one in urdu and one in English. then we got the nadra marriage certificate made. which is an official document from the govt body..it's English and urdu.

So we submitted all three: marriage certificate, urdu nikkah nama and English nikkah nama (not English translation) should be enough, what do you think?
