Most of paki immigrants start with security job and then move to cab driving and studying here. Remember everything here requires license so mentally be prepared to Most of indian counterparts will jump in labor and driving trucks they aim for trucking and they enter in trucking and settle themselves in 6 months in last 2 years i have not seen single Indian punjabi unsucessful in trucking and making money.

they've been so quiet over the past few weeks, and i just knew they were up to something . keep praying and expect good news soon for all of us insha allah.

about 2 weeks after my MP tells me that they've begun reviewing my file. i hope i don't get a doc request.

Flx it doesn't mean anything in reality. If we get delayed, CIC can say that our documents/files are not straightforward.

Is your file in review? Or it will be after 2 weeks?

Today one of my friend received passport it takes him 27 days in total

I dun want to extend my flight cuz my wife is expecting MashAllah

applications that are not straightforward are those that require interviews due to red flags or possible misrepresentation, and we all know that interview scheduling can add several more months to the wait time. also, receiving a document request does not mean your file will not be dealt with as part of this effort.

"If you are contacted, please respond to any communication you receive from us within the time frame provided in order to ensure that we can properly process your application. The success of our efforts relies on your cooperation."

i know enough to say that when a minister tells a subcommittee that something is their "main priority", it means just that. i am confident that they're going to try to process us all faster and attempt to meet their admission levels for this fiscal year. see you guys in a few weeks.

First of all congratulations And I wish you meet with your family soon inshaAllah. Please pray for us its been 21 days since our passport is gone for visa stamping. Hoping to get it this week. In how much days you got your passport? We are planning to travel on the 9th or 10th Day of Eid inshaAllah

Hello guys,

Just for reconfirmation I need 3 things:
1) Original Urdu Nikahnama with stamp "seal of registrar"
2) English translation of Urdu Nikahnama which is by notary public
3) Nadra marriage certificate which is issued by the government in english and urdu

ps I don't what is the notary public "golden stamp", all I got done was a purple stamp which set notary public plus translation from urdu to english

I don't really have full context of your question. Assuming you are submitting a new application, CIC updated the country specific guide for Pakistan in May. We no longer need to provide any original documents CIC would not gurantee that you will get original back if you send it without an official request for the original document.

Urdu Nikkah Nama will already have a seal stamp. You actually won't need an English translation these days. At least in the recent months, you now sign both urdu and english nikkah nama when getting married. If you don't have English one, then get the urdu translated. There are many offices in canada and lahore where they can notarize the translation / copies. Hope this helps.

I have couriered my application on 1st Jun 2016 from Calgary, Canada to CPC but still didn't received any acknowledgement mail or anything?
Whats next? Will I receive any acknowledgement email? How much I should wait?

They don't specify if the photocopies of nikah nama, birth certificate need to be certified photocopies. They only ask for photocopies in the general sense (page 3 of 3907e)
For certified copies they only ask for the passport pages (page 4 of 3907e)

It usually take two months, you will receive a confirmation email most probably mid of August.

A Canadian citizen may leave for as long as they want but there is a possibility that cic will ask for proofs of resettlement such as a job offer. A PR may not leave for long periods. I think they have to stay for the whole duration while their application is being processed (not sure though!).

My wife contact MP office But secretary said that we have to fill 2 forms after that you have to come to the office one form is from applicant and 1 from sponsor.Any idea guyz

Both forms can be filled out electronically. You don't need to visit their office.
