First of all congratulations And I wish you meet with your family soon inshaAllah. Please pray for us its been 21 days since our passport is gone for visa stamping. Hoping to get it this week. In how much days you got your passport? We are planning to travel on the 9th or 10th Day of Eid inshaAllah

I submitted my passport on 26 may 2016 but I booked my ticket cuz in this season it's difficult to get cheap ticket . . Well I wish Allah ki Madad say 25 June tak ajae passport wapas remember me in ur prayers too

If we look at the following link, we realize that at the moment CIC can process at max 48000 spouse visa applications per annum for all countries of the world (which will now be increased to 62000).

This means that there are a limited number of visas that can be issued for every country in a year. If there are applicants from a country who are eligible but the limit of visas for the country is reached then visas will not be issued.
Last year LVO was quick to process spouse visa applications but soon they reached the limit. They spared some slots/spaces to process visa applications that were lying with them from ages (2013 - 2014 applicants). Now, whenever new year for the slots/spaces starts (they get more slots/spaces to process visa applications), We will start seeing a lot of DMs and PPRs (inshallah).

PS: To manage properly, CIC takes limited number of new applications for different visa categories like skilled workers etc. This is good.
But, I disliked that in a given year at max only 48000 Canadians are allowed to marry and live together with humans from other nationalities.

I sent my original matric ,intermediate ,university semester results to my husband
He showed them to lawyer
Lawyer told him to send photocopies of them and keep originals with you.

ohh... i'm fine sending my pakistani educational documents but afraid to send the uk one's gum ho gai to kafi masla ho jai ga

If i am not mistaken i just read on the previous post that there's no more requirement to send original docs.
Cic is asking for photocopies now

Both forms can be filled out electronically. You don't need to visit their office.

no there is one form that you have to fill with your hand and that is mp's form this form is called release form
and the other from you have to fill electronically this form is called consent form
what you need to do just fill these forms and make an appointment with your mp take these forms with you he/she will sort you out straight away
I went through this process last week
