Hello everyone,

I have a question, lets say I have my canadas visa before i got engaged and married and I file for spousal immigration after marriage normally and send it to London. Will I be able to visit my husband to canada from the visa I got before I got married and still go through normal immigration process?

As long as you have the valid visa you can definitely get into Canada.

No you have to wait. CIC may extend your existing one or will send you the request to get it done.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi All,

I got an email today asking for the Right of Permanent Residence fee. This is from the email:

Right of Permanent Residence Fee
Please advise your sponsor to pay this fee in Canada ($490 Cdn). This payment cannot be accepted in the UK. It must be paid in Canada in accordance with the instructions in the sponsorship kit. The receipt should be sent to CPC-Mississauga.

How do I send to CPC-Mississauga? I will be paying online tonight but the receipt should be emailed, physically mailed, faxed? Anyone else go through this?

Thanks!

When was your medical expiring? Mine expired long ago few days after submission of our file. So, I'm definitely looking forward to a re-medical rather thn extension.

Do they usually send the request for an extension before your medical expires or they can do it after as well?

Does it really matter if I change my name after marriage and get a new passport, will i still be able to use my Canada visa that I got before getting married.

The medical was going to expire in about 3 months (end of October).

Im so happy to hear :) :) :) Congrats

our timelines are very close, what can we expect further? and when?
my thoughts are:
in best case scenario : PPR (about 4 weeks)
or we may get request to submit Police certi

I am expecting a DM/PPR in the next step.
In most cases, they don't request an updated PCC.
