My wife got the passport back today with the resident visa YAAAY ;D. Only landing is remaining now. Hopefully will do that by next week. Here is the detailed timeline

Outland Application (Pakistan)

Application Received by CIC: 14-May-2014
SA Approved: 16-July-2014
CSQ Approved: 23-July-2014
Additional Document Request: 26-Feb-2015, CSQ was requested to be sent to LVO
Ecas In Process: 11-May-2015
Medical details were requested by LVO: 9-June-2015, Medical was extended
Passport Request: 29-June-2015
ECAS Decision Made: 3-July-2015
Visa Issued: 9-July-2015
Passport got back: 15-July-2015

P.S: We did not send any original documents to CIC.

Congrats mashALLAH... But in the guide it says u have to submit original educational documents so how come they didn't even ask u about originals??

I know in the guide it says to send the originals but we were not willing to risk the loss of original documents. Therefore just sent the certified copies and were hoping that they never ask for it and they never did. I guess we were just lucky.

Secondly my wife was going to apply for study permit after sending the sponsorship application to CIC. That was another reason that we did not send the originals.

She is already in Canada on study permit since Jan 2015

Just posting for people who recently went into interview queue, please goto these links for getting an idea of what type of questions are asked during spousal interview.
All questions may not relate to you, but just to give you a starting point for your preparations. The best way to prepare is to study again all the forms you filled. Starting from applicant's to sponsors. They only ask questions from forms.
Start gathering some evidences too like tons of pictures from and after wedding pics showing Rukhsati wives living with inlaws and all other norms like wedding attended eid celebrated etc, sponsor visits, chat logs, video call logs.

Anyone has the info about "Eye color code chart for CIC".
E.g. For Black Eye the code is 1....Does someone has the MOST UPDATED complete chart?

You have mixed up your years in the dates. Please fix that, so your application was transferred to LVO on July 29 2014.?? and you haven't heard anything from them.?? That is unusual, did you and your spouse check their emails regularly.?? When did you do the upfront medical.? Please give us your detailed time line.

No idea some get on the same day some after few days but within four weeks! There's no fixed duration. I'm also waiting..

Don't just rely on ECAS......What is your exact time line?
If its been over 1 year then you might here back from them very soon. No one can tell WHEN.
