Thanks Mercy24, on CIC website currently it says 55 days for assessment of sponsor. Does it mean mine is getting quicker in time as I received first email in 35days +7 days u say for approval email?

Possibly. Stage 1 sponsor approval processing time is normally faster during the summer.

I have few questions regarding sponsorship of my wife who lives in Karachi.
I had nikah only but got divorced in 6 months and never applied for sponsorship for 1st wife. This is regarding sponsorship of my 2nd wife. Here are the details

Application recved by Missisauga : April 2014
File sent to London visa office : June 2014
Received objection letter from visa officer about divorce certificate for 1st marriage : Feb 2015
Proofs and explanations sent to london visa office : Mar 2015
Got email from London visa office for remedical : July 2015

1) Does re-medical mean that they have no objection now and my wife application is now at final stages? Are there interview chances now? Will they ask for passport next? How much time approx it takes to get PPR?

2) Do I have to Email or call IOM in Karachi? can you please share tel# and email please . is it same or changed recently? Do i have to tell them its remedical?

IN the email its mentioned to get remedical done within 30 days , does that mean its 30 days for them to receive it or just my wife getting medical appointment within 30 days?

The overwhelming majority of people do get re-med requests! Most of the re-med requests happen just before expiration but sometimes they come after expiration as well. This can also be dependent on how early the applicant has taken his/her upfront medical exam and when the application was submitted to CPC Mississauga.

What if the upfront medical was done 6 months before the file submission?
Have you seen any such cases? what happens in such a case?

Your medical is valid only for a year, so yeah someone could've done medical 6 months before and then submitted the application. Your initial application would've still been considered complete. however, as mentioned before, it would be upto the VO whether they extend or will request re-med once they open your file. Majority of Pakistani applicants are requested re-med. Only a handful of them had theirs extended.

There is an individual on London thread who had done medical in Dec 2013, and they submitted their application around May/June of 2014. They were recently asked for re-med.

as far as I know, medicals are only extended when they are the only thing preventing visa issuance....it means everything else is done and finished (specially all BG checks and clearances, final decision, etc).

What is your closest location: ISB, LHR, KHI?
As far as I know people have been going to one of these VAC locations with a printout of their PPR notice and own passport.

For your original docs, you should send a case enquiry to CHC London and contact CPC Mississauga.
I have seen them sent from both locations.

1. If you have provided them with the original Divorce Paper then chances are they might have accepted it. You can order GCMS notes to have better idea about it.

2. Book your remedical by sending an email to CANMEDPK @ iom.int (without space) with the remedical request email and the following info: Valid Passport No (starts with two alphabets and seven digits), complete Name, Date of Birth, Contact Numbers in Pakistan (two valid contact numbers), Visa Category, Location/City (KHI, LHR and ISB).
