You haven't received any communication after July 29, 2014? What's your ecas status? Have you submitted upfront medical? If so, when?

If you have not received any communication, I would recommend to order Notes and also submit a case specific inquiry (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london ).

Just received the notes.

They have stated file status as "PA (put away)" - Require interview.
Reason: Groom looking ill demure and bride is looking sad -----------

What kind of stupid reason is that ?? !!! It is a love marriage....
Now i have to wait for some numbed brain officer to look at my file and advise an interview date.

They have stated file status as "PA (put away)" - Require interview.
Reason: Groom looking ill demure and bride is looking sad -----------

Now i have to wait for some numbed brain officer to look at my file and advise an interview date.

Since March they haven't been able to even give you an interview date yet. That sucks real bad man. 5 months & still no clue when would be an interview held.
CIC itself acts brainless sometime.

so once the medical expires, when exactly do they normally request the second medical? do they request right before expiry of the first medical or after. Generally speaking how long after the expiry did you receive the request? (eg: if the medical expires on July 17, would you hear sometime before July 31?)

I have seen that alot of people these days haven't received a re-med request, probably because they extended it. However i am talking about the cases that did get a request for re-med.

Anyone recently landed in Canada? Please share your experience at the Airport and what process you been through?

Also did you process your PR card paperwork at the airport?

No additional paperwork required for PR Card.
CBSA officer just requires the address for mailing PR Card.

The COPR+passport is enough for landing purposes, other than that only Goods Accompanying/or Goods to follow (for customs) required (check CBSA website for the forms if necessary).

Today after about a month received the first email from CIC ;

Is this the AOR email? They also provided a UCI and Application no. in this email ...Earlier I heard that I will get an email from CIC only after they complete the sponsor's evaluation ? should i expect another email for sponsor approval or this is it?

The overwhelming majority of people do get re-med requests! Most of the re-med requests happen just before expiration but sometimes they come after expiration as well. This can also be dependent on how early the applicant has taken his/her upfront medical exam and when the application was submitted to CPC Mississauga.

Thanks Mercy24, on CIC website currently it says 55 days for assessment of sponsor. Does it mean mine is getting quicker in time as I received first email in 35days +7 days u say for approval email?

Did they asked fir re medical and what is your ecase status
