Hey!
no one can tell u but its just a guess.. like re medical is good sign.. asking for landing fees is good sign etcetc.
hope that helps..
Regards,

Yeah i think remed is a positive sign. But i didnt get request for resubmitting pcc or any other proof. Few ppl have gotten such requests. Also I have heard that they don't reject the case directly. They ask you for clarification, more proofs or call you for interview. I was asked for none. I am hopeful that it will be a positive decision.

The most recent applicants they have started are August 2014 applicants for re-med requests. It will be about 3 to 4 more months before they get to December.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi,

My wife got her PPR and will be submitting her passport.
In the PPR email, there is a small chart which you must fill titled "appendix A".

In this chart, they ask for 'last name' and 'first name'. They also say fill it exactly as on passport.

In her Pakistani passport, she has 'last name' and 'given name' where 'given name' is first+middle name

So, the question is:
On appendix a of ppr, what should she put for first name?
For example,
If her passport says:
Last name: Chaudhary
Given name: Sultana Burhan

Her father's name is: Burhan

On appendix a of ppr, should she put 'Sultana' as first name or 'Sultana Burhan'?

How about for mailing address section?
Should she put 'Sultana Burhan Choudhary' for name or 'Sultana Choudhary'?

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Re med done on March 03/2015

The next step would be a decision made.
It is difficult to stay how long as there is a big variation in time during this stage.
You should order GCMS notes to get a clear picture of what progress has been made and if there is any problems in the applicant's case.

For first name, you will need to enter: Sultana
For last name, you will enter: Choudhary
Hence, first + last name: Sultana Choudhary.
Keep it the same for mailing address also.
There should be no discrepancy in spelling from passport.

**CORRECTION**
A member has provided me a sample letter of the passport request:
Code:
2. The given name (first name) of the passport-holder must be clearly printed on the Given Name line of the bio-data page of each passport.
The surname (last name) of the passport-holder must be clearly printed on the Surname line of the bio-data page of each passport.
They should match your Updated Information Chart.
Obviously, they are using the term first name to include given name which is really strange. Because people normally understand first name to be only first name.
So even though on the chart it is saying first name, I would also add the middle names from the passport.
This could have been better clarified if they had stated "Given name(s) (as in passport)" on the chart itself.
I don't know if other members have put only first name as this question is not common.

Sent a case inquiry on 15th of May, & this is what I got today from LVO.

Dear Applicant,
We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
This file is still in queue for review. We will therefore be in touch in due course when/if we require further documentation.
My timeline is on the side.
I guess no one can say/suggest much after reading this eh?
My reaction was WTF!!!!

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hi,

After receiving PPR, my Wife dropped off her passport at VFSGlobal Karachi office Today and paid the PKR 1550 fee.
She got her tracking number email.

I checked the status and it says:

Visa application, tracking ID XXXXXXXXX Your processed passport has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, on 03/06/2015 and is ready for collection. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

It seems confusing -- is the passport already stamped with Visa and COPR and ready for collection?
