So finally took the bold step and did complete re-medical for my wife including Xray after getting some positive responses from every where that Xray is safe in second trimester. Now hope and pray and want all of you to pray that she comes here and baby is born in Canada. She is 6th month pregnant. .

I consulted a lawyer too and he gave me a weird advice of applying for a temporary resident permit (TRP). After doing complete medical and asking CIC to grant her a visa so that she can come here for the baby. I don't have any idea for it before , did someone took this way before.? Am I eligible for it.?

The most recent applicants they have started are August 2014 applicants for re-med requests. It will be about 3 to 4 more months before they get to December.

I am submit my wife case in July 2014 and file transfer in Sep 2014 and then few months no updates .. and April got email for proof for communication which I did sent via mail .. and after 15 days I got another email for re-medical which also done with int 7 days and till now waiting waiting waiting .. no status updates .. still saying application received .. so looks like they are working on July file too ?

no idea how soon passport request will come .. senior member any ETA

Depends on case to case, on average according to current trend it is taking around 9 to 11 months for you to get any correspondence from them (which is around your expiry of medical) and total of 12 to 15 months from date you apply.

Sent a case inquiry on 15th of May, & this is what I got today from LVO.

Dear Applicant,
We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
This file is still in queue for review. We will therefore be in touch in due course when/if we require further documentation.
My timeline is on the side.
I guess no one can say/suggest much after reading this eh?
My reaction was WTF!!!!

I think your case is just like mine. The file is still put away and background checks have yet to begin.

Ya but my concern is what should i do,
i ordered notes, waiting for that. hopefully receive them by 15th or so and will have better idea whats going on. but i have visited my wife twice since i applied, we went traveling also, should i send that stuff voluntarily or should i wait(as per my consultant's suggestion). it might speed up the process. or it could bite me in the ass.
any suggestion folks? i am more inclined towards sending in proofs after receiving this email today.

In my opinion If sponsorship application is in process then TRP option is worthless. It only makes sense once you applied for TRV and it didn't go through for you then TRP is the second option to go with.
Since now your sponsorship application is in process they would simply say that your application is in process for sponsorship and you got to wait until a decision on the sponsorship application is made.
So save your money and time......

I need suggestion my wife gave her re-assessment of medical on 11th may 2015 still no contact from LVO should we apply for ATIP forms or not.please suggest.
