Hi Folks,

Alhamdolillah my Wife finally got her passport request (PPR) email Today.

Quick questions (sorry too excited that the moment):

- In the attached PDF letter, it is stated that:

-> What do they mean by 'Confirmation of Permanent Resident Documents(s)'? Should my Wife wait until she receives 'Confirmation of Permanent Resident Document' from CIC/LVO before submitting her passport to Islamabad?

My understanding was that she will print out this PPR, fill up the attached form, send photographs and her passport to Islamabad where they will staple the Canadian PR visa to her passport and return it back to her. I am confused about the COPR here.

-> Do we have to any additional fees (I paid the $1050~ fee at the time I filed her application with CIC)? They haven't mentioned anything about the fees in this letter.

-> How do VFS send the passport back -- does she have to go to collect the passport or do they house deliver? Do they give any tracking number for the passport?

All prospective immigrants are issued a COPR document(IMM5688) alongwith the Visas.
(used to be known as landing paper, record of landing, etc). Issued with every Visa

Hello quick question, On ecas it says Decision Made under Sponsorship Application Status and under "Permanent Residence Application Status" Application Received and when I click on Application Received , it says "We received ******** application for permanent residence on November 25, 2014." Now how do I know where is my case file? Is it in London Visa office? when I received my AOR on february 22nd 2015 it gave the address of London visa office for any questions or inquiries regarding my case but didn't specify where my file is currently. So can anyone help me please??

if they told you to contact London for questions/inquiries, it's obvious your file is there.
Common sense.

Order GCMS notes (electronic) if you're looking for more info on your file. Google or check forum, it's ordered on CIC website(sponsor can do it)

My understanding is:

-> Provide 2 photos (same size as that for the application submission time / re-med time)
-> Passport
-> Printout the attached PDF (from the PPR email)

Aoa everyone,
I have a question, for re pcc, are we supposed to get it made from all the places we have been living? for Instance I keep moving between islamabad and rawalpindi...Does it mean i will have to get a police clearance certificate made from both the cities???

no one can tell u but its just a guess.. like re medical is good sign.. asking for landing fees is good sign etcetc.

you have to get the PCC from what ever cities you have stayed for more then 6 months continues..

If i visit a city for a week or two, and then come bak to my city of residence even then I'll have to get it made from both the cities???
