Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Any feedback on below..!

Thank you for everyone..!! I have taken medical examination appointment. Pls Pray for me.

I think they have done background check and then send medical request. Correct? I didn't do upfront medical.

Bye the way after medical examination what would be next step?

Feedbacks will be appreciated. Tnx

BG is the last thing done before PPR1. Days depend upon your travel history. So if there is no such history you might get it in few days. couple of weeks.
Wish you good luck.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Thank you handsup.!!!

By the way I thought that once they done background check then the next step is medical request. After medical request and results submission then they send passport request 1 and then passport report 2. But you advised that after medical request the next step is background check?

Any other senior member's feedback on this?

I appreciate. Tnx

Medical request is independent,,,the moment your medical is expiring, request will come already...
PPR request comes as soon as background checks are finalised !!
and then PPR2....

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

Hello,

I am quite new to this forum. I received my stage one approval today (Feb 12, 2014) and notified my file has transferred to LVO.
A couple of questions:
1) I noticed that some people below his/her usernames have detailed timeline of their immigration process. How would I add this for myself?
2) Is there a spreadsheet for Pakistani spouses submitted to LVO? And how would I get added?

Timeline: (days elapsed -includes weekend/holidays)
Nov 10, 2014 - CIC-M received application (0 day)
Jan 23, 2015 - AOR received (74 days)
Feb 12, 2015 - Stage 1 approval, file transferred to LVO (94 days)

Thanks kindly.

My mp's office told me that they send the re medical after the background check. Then the requests. She also told me those who are going for interview, if all goes well visa will be issued there. Is this true? or false?

What's the email id to contact with LVO?

No email address but there is a link to post which has been stated in this thread.
Or you can get the link by google "london visa office contact".
I guess because I am newbie I don't have ability to post links.

Re: SPOUSAL Sponsorship PAKISTAN @ London Visa Office

How long does it normally take nowadays to get response from London Visa Office after Stage 1 approval?

It is too early and wastage of time and energy at both ends. I can imagine what you are feeling right now but for the time being for few months sit back and wait for your VO email/mail.
Wish you good luck

Thanks. I wish I had seen this forum before I had sent in my application. Its very useful and nice to communicate on current issues with people that are in similar situation.
I had married my wife in Pakistan but not Pakistani myself.
When I asked my wife to send me her bachelor's and master's degree certificates, I had no idea she had to apply for them!
Secondly, I should have just sent the application when she completed her upfront medical exam instead of waiting for one month for these certificates. ::)
