Thanks. I wish I had seen this forum before I had sent in my application. Its very useful and nice to communicate on current issues with people that are in similar situation.
I had married my wife in Pakistan but not Pakistani myself.
When I asked my wife to send me her bachelor's and master's degree certificates, I had no idea she had to apply for them!
Secondly, I should have just sent the application when she completed her upfront medical exam instead of waiting for one month for these certificates. :

My mp's office told me that they send the re medical after the background check. Then the requests. She also told me those who are going for interview, if all goes well visa will be issued there. Is this true? or false?

That is true, Visa will be issued on the spot if the med is done and results are with your VO.

I was born in Toronto but my parents are from East Africa of Gujarati origin. My wife is originally from Hunza, Pakistan.
Masha'allah, feel very fortunate and blessed to have met her. She is expecting our baby end of April 2015.

Timeline: (days elapsed -includes weekend/holidays)
Nov 10, 2014 - CIC-M received application (0 day)
Jan 23, 2015 - AOR received (74 days)
Feb 12, 2015 - Stage 1 approval, file transferred to LVO (94 days)

Guys LVO changed their timeline to 29 months!!! Does it mean people who apply as of today will have to wait 29 months or everyone?

Immigration is getting stupider day by day. Honestly. They shouldnt do this to spouse cases. Its so unfair. The hassle they put us through is ridiculous. I understand they want to check everything. But it can be done in a quicker non lazy way. Meanwhile im sure that people who aren't honest get through easily. I wish we could start a petition. But that would be a waste of time. The best thing we can do is pray to Allah. So frustrated.

hello there,
i have a very quick question to you LVO send an email for my daughter medical and my daughter is only 7 month old she has no govt issue document right now because they all sent to LVO like bay form, birth certificate plus passport sent to PAK embassy already. so my question is when you go for medical they always ask for govt issue ID which we dont have any at that moment. so what should we do ? if anybody can through a but light on it i will really appreciate that.

London Visa office changed processing time to 29 months, scaring news. Will this time be applicable to new applicants or previous ones too.
Does any one else got any response from LVO whose file transferred to london in Aug 2014.
Please give me the email address to contact Lvo in order to update some information.

I sent an email today. They send an automated reply which says that they respond within a month to non-urgent queries. :/

hmm, We can just hope something better comes up. Last week one member whose file transferred in july received a response from Lvo. Hope u will get soon.

Biggest concern is this new processing time drama. No idea if this is applicable to old applicants.

I hope not. Because they were working very fast on 2014 files. Most of early 2014 applicants got remdcl and ppr.
