I want to know after sending request for GCMS notes there is only one e-mail like receipt of payment type which the requester get?
Or the e-mail which contains the request number is separate from that?
Please tell me if u know.

we are planning to leave before 15th august.... INSHA ALLAH

can youu guys tell me about luggage.... is there any relief on luggage limits?
as we are family immigrants and we have to clear and finish the a whole home.

Yes, there is a limit on baggage you can take with you in the airline (when flying).

Depending on your seats (economy or first class) and airline they have different weights per baggage. (some 23kg others 28kg)

Though you can order a follow-up baggage. Though it will be difficult to bring the whole house. (furniture and what not).

First of all, Congratulations.

PIA 23 KG two bags i.e. 46 KG/person also one hand carry of 12 KG
So for family of 4. multiply 46 with no. of persons. but one bag should not be more than 23KG

Almost all airlines have similar options except Air Canada which allow only one bag 23kg and a hand carry 10kg.

i applied in may 2014 .. got S.A few days back ... and they said my file transferred to london.. so is it gonna go to islamabas or will be processed in london ??? any idea and is it gonna take 11mnths or 32??

its in london, so london timeline will apply to you, it will take 11+3 months since the transfer of file date

Well i think you should check PIA rates, they are cheap also you should buy one way ticket (allowed on immigration papers) and they allow two 23kg suitcases as careless mentioned, , plus they offer 1 extra 23KG for 110$ which is quicker than any cargo cause that suitcase will go in the same plane with your other lugage and almost cost around the same as of booking a cargo of 23 kg . Happy travels.

i have a few question. i have been following the forum for quite sometime now, im a bit confused as on some websites its states that Pakistani nationals have to submit Educational documents and country specific forms as well. Can any please help in this regard.

Forms completed so far are as follow

1. IMM 0008
2. IMM 5669
3. IMM 5406
4. IMM 5490
5. IMM 5285
6. IMM 1344
7. IMM 5481
8. IMM 5443

Is there any form missing ?

i also wanted to know about the number of passport pictures to be submitted and should i get them attested by the photograper ?

Do we have to submit original documents or attested photocopies apart from police certificate ?

Do we have to write cover letter and personal statements for the application ?

Walaikum Assalam,
First you need to confirm if you are inland or outland ? Inland means the applicant is in Canada outland means applicant is in Pakistan. Since you have mentioned IMM 5443 that checklist is for inland application and can only be used if you [applicant] are staying in Canada during the period of application process.
I am assuming you are in Pakistan therefore that checklist is not applicable to you. You will need to follow this checklist for the sponsor http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.pdf

Payment receipt IMM 5401
