I would suggest you to apply for TRV for you wife as LVO is now 29 months processing VO.

You have to send an email to inquire about your file. BUT now all family cases are being processed at LVO so your file MUST be there too. ISB is only processing TRV and Student Visas.
Yes that means that your file is not opened yet for stage 2. It will become in process the file is opened. But sometimes the VO does not update status often. So do not worry much.

Well nothing can be said right now, what is updated on the source of this info, when is it applicable?
Also we have to wait to see the trend on the forum by posts that whether it is for 2015 applicants or for all that are already in the inventory.

What are the odds on a TRV being issued while you are sponsoring your wife in parallel?

Is this time increase due to the fact that London Office took over applications from Islamabad, which were just gathering dust for over a year.

I applied for spousal sponsorship on March 31, 2014 and London office asked for proof of birth for my wife on Tuesday - Feb 10th. Now sure how 29 months window will fit in.

TRV is really tough now, few people including my wife were refused the TRV.

Might be we all need to start bugging Immigration Minister.

Your TRV got refused on what grounds?

I find something so intrinsically wrong with this.
What I understand from a Temporary Resident Visa, the most challenging part of the process is to convince that my wife and baby will return back to Pakistan.
If I was the visa officer how realistic would that be? Is there something <i>wrong</i> with this framework that I need to be disingenuous to be united with my loved ones?

Updated Application Form: We are enclosing herewith the copy of Schedule A form for yourself. You are requested to review these forms, update them and return to us on urgent basis.

Proof of your sponsor’s residency in Canada.

what is means and what will be next step and is background check is undergo.

Good. You are lucky u get some response. Many June and July cases didnt hear anything from LVO. I know one of my friend also got the same question to prove the residency.
He send them his utillity bills and paystubs as an evidence of residence in canada. I think Next step would be either remedical or ppr.

actually my wife live with his parents and brother so she dont have the utility bill in her name and she currently unemployee so how i prove her residency. Is learning driving lic or any govt letter is accepted.
Canada govt again increase the timeline and i guess it would also increase our time too and what it mean if they ask any document. is my background check underway.

Update the given form, where does sponsor live and its address , is he settle there, working well , or he has been traveling from one place to another...

Proof of residence in a Canadian province or territory
The following proofs of residence are accepted:

driver's licence from a Canadian province;
municipal or school tax bill;
government postal correspondence;
recent invoice from a company providing energy, residential telephone or cable services;
hospital card accompanied by the health insurance card with photo;
record of employment or payslip;
certificate or statement of home or auto insurance;
transcript from a Canadian college or university;
bank statement;
change of address receipt from Canada Post.

She needs to provide any document indicating that she is residing in canada since she sponsored you. As she is living with her parents then utility bills and lease agreement wont be possible. She can send any medical record if she visited during that period of time any doctor. Further she can send cell phone bill (If she have any), though cell phone bill is not considered as good evidence. She can send any educational document if she enrolled in any course.
Dont worry just give them some solid evidence as proof of residence.
I didnt hear anything from LVO yet.
