As many of you know the processing times at London visa office has increased from 11 months to 29 months to resolve 80% of the cases received. Undoubtedly, this is because of the processing of principal applicants from Pakistan.

Do you think you have better odds of getting a visa issued if you applied for a study visa instead?

Equal planning, respective factors, keen selection of either path is required.

Well I'm amongst those who received the rukhsati letter.
I got my rukhsuti and valeema done and sent them proof and 3 weeks later they sent me the interview date.
im pretty sure they just want to see if my marriage is genuine or not.
i will prove it to them. ;D

I just received PER mail. Now I am waiting for MR. I was planning to do nikah in April this year.
If I do nikah only and provide document proof and pictures of nikah is it enough to add my spouse to the FSW application.?

because your NIKAH is after submission of your application, you will have to add your wife and inform your visa office.usually wife must be living with you.

yEAH tHATS what I am planning. So VO will add her right. ? It may delay the app process but she can fly with me if she is added.
Plus she has passport valid. She dont have IELTS.

you are on right track. If you can delay, it will save you from many complications and further wait associated with spousal immigration.

Yes exactly. INSHALLAH .. I hope this way the VO believes that its a legit marriage. Coz I will only do nikah and file her papers thats it.
She dont have to change her name right? Will there be change in passports for marital status ?

And what about the members who's files are in Islamabad ,,not shifted to London ,,waiting and waiting .. and the time was 33 months ,,now increased to 36 months… I have spent 21 months of spouse assessment time..

All I can suggest as a solution to the brutality of CIC is that please please please make sure once you are in Canada and start family Plz plz make sure at least one kid becomes a lawyer and ultimately immigration lawyer. That's typical Canadian way of revenge, someone is dying of cancer he doesn't care about himself anymore but he makes sure he does whatever he can to fight this monster for everyone else( terry fox is just one example).
Micmac I'm flying to Pakistan and I have a bit issue of restless leg syndrome that's why it's hard to sit for that long even if you are in business class. Even though using their wifi service on board does help a bit .
But indeed can't wait to see my wife and everyone else in the family.
