Yeah I'm happy for them too but it's just too frustrating, especially because I've tried looking at other month spreadsheets and there really isn't that many people on Bogota VO, so I really don't understand what takes them so long, even though I'm aware that there are other people applying for other visas. Even Lima VO is faster than Bogota VO.

MarCar, has your ecas changed at all lately?

P.S: Sorry for all the whining, I just miss my husband too much today! Hahahahhahaha!! Have a great day you guys!

My eCas have not changed since it went to In Process back in October 2015 :(
we have only reeived two emails asking for additional documents, last email was back on Feb 28, 2016... It feels it is taking forever! :)

If you don't mind me asking, did your case had any red flags? Even though I'm sure you might be asked for pictures soon.

No, no red flags. It seems that since we did not send a complete application; we did not attached his divorce judgement and Military card, that is an excuse for them to take their sweet little time! :D

Yeah, I am hoping we get DM sooner than later. :D

Hopefully you have good news soon! I wanted to ask you guys how long did it take for them to request more documents? I've been reading again about the medicals exams, I know I was told by all of you to get them done and send them as a case enquiry, but my husband keeps on telling me to wait and on a new forum it says to wait till they ask for them to be redone. I'm so unsure and scared to getting them done without them asking for it. Estoy en una encrucijada con lo que me dice mi esposo, lo que me sugieren ustedes y otros en otro forum! :'( ::) ??? :-\

Thanks JJ!

We waited for AOR 2. The letter states that the applicant and dependents should have medicals done and also assigns a UCI # to the applicant :D.you can wait for AOR2 which is when the transfer the file from Mississauga to Bogota. Also we did the BCC at the same time. Well, at least that's what we did!

I already received my AOR2, I'm planning to show this to my husband. Thanks!

Gracias! Lo enviaras por email cierto?

Hello family, how is everyone doing today? another week gone by... at least each passing week brings us closer to the day we will get the golden email :)

Liiaa Hope you have a great weekend, so sweet of you trying to cheer us all.

Hey guys,
Wanted to give you guys some good news, I read in one of the forums that processing times changed for some countries, I checked and for Colombia it changed from 17 months to 15 months. Hopefully all our applications are processed before that time, but I guess it gives us a little more hope to new applicants. Hope all of you are having a great Sunday and that hopefully we all receive good news related to our applications this new month! ;D

Hello JJ :) I have read that for Colombia is 15 months, but for Ecuador is 17 months. However the apps from here are processed in Colombia so that makes me confused...... But I sure hope this new month will bring us all amazing news :)

Hi Guys

About the processing time, when we apply back in July 2015, for Colombia was 12 months for the applicant plus 2 for the sponsor, totaling 14 months... What it shows now is 15 months minus 39 days for sponsor. I am assuming then that for the applicant is around 14 months or so... In any case, it is to my understanding that this time line is 'worst case scenario' and hopefully it will be shorter process for all of us, although I am getting closer to the ten month mark :(
