Oath Ceremony done today!

You say your Language Skills are In Progress and the Test status is Not Started and you have already received the Oath invitation?

How is that possible? I assume there is a mistake somewhere.

This is my mom's application and since she is above 54yrs age so she wont be tested for language skill, test or interview. Please someone correct me if am wrong.

When did you guys get email for citizenship ceremony?

I am scheduled for March 16 but no email yet

We got ours the next morning of status change.

You will get it 1 week before usually. If not, you will definitely get it 2-3 days before ceremony. If not, email them (to the address you received test invitation from) explaining your situation.

came online just looking for this. Kind of the same situation, no email and Oath on 18th. Will wait till 4 days prior and shoot them test email my situation

Update:

I (and my wife) just got a new tracker update to Oath Ceremony - In Progress, scheduled for March 25, 2022.

This comes about 10 days after Decision Made.

This relatively quicker timeline could be either due to the Background Check of my wife expiring this week, or due to a request for Urgent Processing that I had made on 21st February (Category: Travel due to family health situation backed up by Medical and Travel docs)

I wish good luck to all who are waiting.

Also received the email invitation today. Updated the spreadsheet.

I received an invitation but without seat number so I am not sure what to do.

Regarding GCMS notes, I've read it somewhere on this forum that nowadays it takes more than 1 month to receive it. Maybe send a webform to inquire.

Regarding phone calls, my guess would be that they will try other methods to contact you. Don't they use email for most things?

Both requests were made last year. Is there a webform for ATIP? Or did you mean the regular webform from CIC?

My friend indeed told me the CIC just call him up for interview, without email notification first.

Don't worry.

When you sign in to the ceremony, a clerk will guide you with what steps you need to take.

Dont worry about it. You should be good as long as you have the correct Zoom id and password. They will assign you one during registration process.

Hello everyone,

I have a question related to the Oath Ceremony and receiving the Certificate.

My profile and my wife's application were updated today to attend the Oath Ceremony on March 25th.
However, we are putting our place for sale in a few days. As you probably can guess, is impossible to know when we will have to move.

I was just wondering if during the Oath Ceremony is it possible to provide an alternate address for the Certificate to be mailed? Or should the address be updated on ECAS?
