Does anyone know if there is a way to follow up on th GCMS note requests? I made 2 requests and never got them?

By the way, if CIC does call us and I miss the calls, what would happen? I have been out of the country for a few months due to family matters and cannot access my Canadian phone.

Regarding GCMS notes, I've read it somewhere on this forum that nowadays it takes more than 1 month to receive it. Maybe send a webform to inquire.

Regarding phone calls, my guess would be that they will try other methods to contact you. Don't they use email for most things?

Hi Guys - I got a ghost update on my profile today, the new tracker says last updated 4th March 2022, whereas I don't see any change in the activities in the tracker below.

I did give my 2nd FP to an agency on Mar 1st, but I doubt they would have updated it so quickly, considering RCMP sends the reports to IRCC by regular mail.

Any insights on this would be great! Thanks

When will the status of kids get updated like adults? Or it will not get updated until oath ceremony of adults completed?

Kids' statuses get updated after the parent(s)'s status is updated after the oath.

Applicants over 55 are not required to do the test. This is most likely the case.

You will get it 1 week before usually. If not, you will definitely get it 2-3 days before ceremony. If not, email them (to the address you received test invitation from) explaining your situation.

The next step is oath ceremony. Nobody can tell you how soon you will get it. To avoid disappointment, assume it'll take a bare minimum of 3 months to get an oath date after Decision Made (which is your current status). Check the spreadsheet to see the recent timelines of your peers.

3-6 months it seems from the timelines here, but with the crisis in Afghanistan and now Ukraine, maybe even longer.

Update:

I (and my wife) just got a new tracker update to Oath Ceremony - In Progress, scheduled for March 25, 2022.

This comes about 10 days after Decision Made.

This relatively quicker timeline could be either due to the Background Check of my wife expiring this week, or due to a request for Urgent Processing that I had made on 21st February (Category: Travel due to family health situation backed up by Medical and Travel docs)

My online account has been updated on September 2021 setting me up for the citizenship oath ceremony on March 16th, 2022. However, I haven't received any further details from IRCC yet; no emails or invitation for the oath ceremony. Given that it's only 9 days away I am becoming a bit concerned.

From your experience, is it normal? if not, how would I contact IRCC about it?
