Any Montreal applicants here?

They started to process my application on Dec 24th, and I still haven't received the test invite.

Also, I never received the physical copy of the Study Guide. Do they still send out the physical copy?

They don't send you physical copy of Discover Canada. You can request a physical copy through the link they provided in your AOR (or simply Google it).

I was scheduled to citizenship test end of Feb at CIC Calgary but I had to contact them to change the date as I will be outside the country on that day. Haven't heard back from them yet. Anyone has experience how long we should wait to be rescheduled for citizenship test? Thanks!

I've got today my test invitation email ... it was in my junk email and was received today at 8pm ... I didn't expect to get it this early, Unbelievable!!! I'm sure Toronto office has been started moving, believe me there will be a lot of test invitations coming soon for Toronto applicants... I will have my test on Feb 28...

I'm not going to ask you guys "How should I prepare myself for test?!" ... this has been asked and answered many times in this forum

I have a question - is fingerprint asked mandatorily for all applications, or they request for only a few people?
Also, what will happen if we are unable to submit the fingerprint within 30 days? Do they wait longer

In the interview, the interviewer asked about my 10 month stay in Germany for which I had attached a PCC. My wife has been living there for 2 years now and is Canadian PR. The interviewer asked if she knew about her PR residence requirements.
With the new laws, you don't have to prove intent to stay in Canada but I am wondering if they could give me a RQ.

Anyway, interviewer said if all docs are in order next step will be oath which will be in 3-4 months.

Updated. I received FP request when my husband did not so I would say it's quite normal.

so, something weird just happened.

I received my fingerprint request on Jan. 14 and sent it through the Commissionaires on Jan. 15. Last week I sent them a webform asking if they received it.

Today they answered saying they did, and that I also received an email yesterday Feb. 11 with a test invite for Scarborough on March 6. Except I didn't, nor did my husband. On the CIC website our status hasn't changed and there's no updates after the FP request.

I'm trying to call them, but has this happened to someone? Not getting the test invite email?

so I did call them just now and it was actually funny. the agent told me that the other agent that replied to my webform question shared information with me that was not ready to be shared yet lol and also that there's a letter that is ready to be sent out but that doesn't mean she can confirm it's the test invite or that I will be invited to the March 6 test, that I might be but she couldn't confirm

I guess I'll just wait now. funny thing is I do have an email from them inviting me to write the test on that day so I could just go lol
