so I did call them just now and it was actually funny. the agent told me that the other agent that replied to my webform question shared information with me that was not ready to be shared yet lol and also that there's a letter that is ready to be sent out but that doesn't mean she can confirm it's the test invite or that I will be invited to the March 6 test, that I might be but she couldn't confirm

I guess I'll just wait now. funny thing is I do have an email from them inviting me to write the test on that day so I could just go lol

How did you submit webform? It says it is only for cases exceeding the normal processing time. Can we submit if that is not the case as well?

I submitted it through this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp and all I did was ask if they had received my fingerprints.

also if you read my second post just before, when I called them they actually said had was wrong information and that I’m not scheduled for the test yet

someone messed up.

also if you read my second post just before, when I called them they actually said had was wrong information and that I’m not scheduled for the test yet

someone messed up.

The webform link says to contact them only if the normal processing time has passed.

Is there any Fingerprinting available in Niagara Region? I remember last time for my PR I did it with Commissionaires in Hamilton.

Ok I did my FP on Jan 4th... I have been checking my emails since then, there is no test invite email.
Today I called CIC and I was told that an email was sent to me on January 23rd notifying me to write my test on February 26th. I checked ECAS and it shows that I have been invited to come and write the test on Feb 26th.

I can confirm I have not received any email from CIC for test.

Please do not depend on your emails. If you are waiting, be proactive. Call CIC. If I didn't call them today, or before February 26th, I could have missed my test date. Life was busy that I nearly dropped the ball on this - don't wait on just email. Check ECAS and/or call CIC as frequent as possible.

Please update my status.... I am excited and nervous. 13 days to memorize the book.

As I read postings that the communication for FP is via mail and ecas, Does it mean that I need to check ecas regularly for all my family members?

Secondly, my ecas status says "We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 20, 2018". However I have not received it yet. Is this normal?

Indeed, being proactive is in our own interest. Good luck on writing the test. I've found the review thru Richmond Public Library to be particularly helpful, as well as the app for practice test.
