Updated!Hello everyone,
I have a question please:
Yesterday (Feb.06) I passed the test with my wife (I got 20/20, she got 15/20 ) ...
The ECAS was updated today for both of us to "Decision Made", but I haven't received any email notifying what was the decision that was made, or about the next steps?
Any clarifiction would be appreciated
Thanks!
I did FP on Jan 8th. I confirmed with RCMP that they sent their info to Vancouver on Jan 10th. I sent webform to IRCC and the initial reply was that they had not received anything yet. I enquired again 30th Jan and was told "We verified the information you provided regarding your fingerprints and have forwarded it to the responsible office. They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application."Are my results lost during transit from Ottawa-Vancouver? Or it normally takes this long? It’s been 3 weeks they sent from Ottawa?
“Help please “
Thanks for all the info!
The test was definitely worded and designed differently than I expected. Instead of reading the study guide I opted for listening to the audio version available on the same link that the study guy PDF is. I also practiced online via the following:
http://www.citizenshipcounts.ca/quiz
http://www.v-soul.com/onlinetest/
About the test itself I was surprised that there were a few questions that asked you to answer true or false and during my studies I didn’t encounter any like that.
I didn’t expect to get 19/20 right. I skipped 7 questions on the first round answering them. Then I just went back and checked everything. I was done within. 17 minutes.
Once outside I didn’t have to wait a whole 5 minutes. An officer called me to the interview room and congratulated me and told me o had passed and told my score and I was like! NO WAY! She chuckled. She just asked me for my passports and my PR card. Didn’t look at any of my diplomas they were my proof of English. She did ask me about an unreported exit of Canada I had done via land and had failed to include in the calculator. I said it had slipped my mind and she asked how long I was away and I said I was just gone for 24 hours. She said she had no concerns about my file and said that I should hear about my ceremony invite within 2 months.
Hope that helps.
I would suggest you remove it from your Quote as well.I would suggest u remove the questions mentioned u got in exam as it is illegal to talk abt this. It is just for u to avoid any unnecessary trouble.
You won't get any email for decision made. You would only get oath invitation whenever they have space for you. Don't worry. Just wait for the invitation. Good luck!Hello everyone,

How long does it usually take to get the oath invitation after the test? You won't get any email for decision made. You would only get oath invitation whenever they have space for you. Don't worry. Just wait for the invitation. Good luck!
It can take a few days to a few months. It depends on your office mostly. You can check the spreadsheet how long your office usually takes. It depends on your application as well. You might get it sooner than other people or later than other people. How long does it usually take to get the oath invitation after the test?
They asked only copy of originals along with applicationHubby got test invitation today, Feb 5, 2019.
Test date March 13, 2019!
Here’s a question...Letter states if under 18 or over 55 when you signed the document you don’t need to prove English proficiency or demonstrate knowledge of Canada. Does this mean he won’t have to write a test?
Here’s another....it says to bring originals of documents sent with the application. Umm, we sent originals in the application, so won’t they have those?
