Just want to ask " how long it would take to receive my AOR2?
Bucharest V.O started processing my application on august 17 but i did not receive any correspondence from them.
should i contact them ?

Do you have an idea about how long it will take to process the applications in B V O ? it is 13 month in the website ! and when should i expect to receive the first correspondence from B V O ? !
Knowing that my application is straightforward .

I can't say for sure how long it takes, but i can share my timeline. My application got transferred to Bucharest on Feb. 19th, the ecas showed that on Feb 25th they started proccesing the application. The only correspondence that I got form Bucharest VO was on July 18th when they requested my passport to finalize the application. No other correspondence.

Got my passport back this morning with the immigrant visa in it. Now all it's left is do the landing.

In exactly 3 days it will be a year since we applied and still no news, someone told me that if they would need an interview I would hear from them earlier (at 7-8 months after we applied).
I ordered notes almost 2 months ago and they just came yesterday , no news...the only think I was happy to see that they included all the additional proof I sent after we applied (we sent 2 time online, and one time a big package of proof via courier). So we have to wait and see what is going to happened since the processing time for our VO is 13 months and we almost achieve it.

I don't think you should have send them additional proof without them asking you for it; I think it made your application look suspicious and maybe that's why it's taking them so long. Another red flag could be the 28 year age gap between you and your spouse.

You should contact the Romanian visa office and ask them what's going on with your application, perhaps they send you communication but you didn't receive it.

well we have some red flags I guess even though in my notes it did not show that yet, we have huge age gap 28 yrs...also met online and married at his second visit , he had previous marriage with 2 kids...he is catholic I am orthodox (that should not be a big deal as is quite normal here a catholic with an orthodox )....and that s all

I don t know if it was good or bad thing...we considered it was a good one ..we did not send enough proof at beginning so our application was quite weak, because we had some good quality proof after we got married ( many pictures with my family , we visit another country where is a part of his family and many pictures with they and air plan tickets, in these 12 months after we got married he lived with me around 7 months and the other months we skype many many hours (we also slept with the camera on every night) , we visited some places in Romania , and also he applied for a card since he could not stay in Romania more than 3 months within 6 month, so he got a card for family reunification for one year, we both had an interview at Romania immigration office and they visited us at home to proof we live together in order to give that card to him)...so I thought all of these should make our case stronger even if it probably slow it down a bit...what do you think?

I don't know, personally, I would have waited to gather more proof and then I would have applied. They might see the new proof as uncertainty in your application and they might also believe that it's a marriage of convenience. However, Romania is part of the EU and you could live in any country so I am not sure if they will see your relationship as not being genuine. Btw, how old are you?
