Most provinces require you to either have a relative living in that province, or complete your studies from that province, or have a job offer / working in that province or were born in that province (some kind of connection to that province - take Manitoba for instance). However, Ontario does not require this connection, however, they invite people that they require based on their criteria. When you say no connection to them, could you please elaborate why in what terms you mean for Ontario?
This is what most likely happened. It's working. I don't think any draw will happen today. What I suspect might have happened is, there is a long weekend coming up and many people are taking vacation due to spring break and this could have led Monday draw initially to avoid working during this vacation time. Just a theory though.
thanks.... so OINP is only for following NOCs:Check the below link for more info. Its human capital priority stream for selected ICT professionals.

This may or may not have changed. I have seen people with NOC different from those listed above getting NOI from Ontario. So this could've been a one-off thing, though it certainly doesn't hurt to be in one of these NOCs.thanks.... so OINP is only for following NOCs:
- NOC 0131: Telecommunication Carriers Managers
- NOC 0213: Computer and Information Systems Managers
- NOC 2133: Electrical and Electronics Engineers
- NOC 2147: Computer Engineers (Except Software Engineers and Designers)
- NOC 2171: Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
- NOC 2172: Database Analysts and Data Administrators
- NOC 2173: Software Engineers and Designers
- NOC 2174: Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers
- NOC 2175: Web Designers and Developers
- NOC 2241: Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologists and Technicians
- NOC 2281: Computer Network Technicians
- NOC 2282: User Support Technicians
- NOC 2283: Systems Testing Technicians
- NOC 5224: Broadcast Technicians
- NOC 5241: Graphic Designers and Illustrators

They don't have the 600 points yet, they were only invited to apply for OINP. They have 45 days to send their application, and then Ontario takes up to 90 days to process and give nomination to those approved. Only then will they get the 600 points for EE. Also not all the candidates that received a NOI go through with the process (many prefer to wait for a direct ITA and see it as a backup plan).Hi Folks,
Since OINP invitations were sent to 480 people from 351 - 446 CRS we again have 480 people at the front of the queue. So assuming bimonthly draws what CRS shall we expect in the next draw definately more than 446?

I am sorry, maybe I am wrong. That's how I understood. Maybe job offer for occupations other than the list above was also given NOI. Please refer http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html
7 in writing is fine Nitin. you need 8777, where 8 in listening and 7 in rest. after that it only effects by 2-3 points.
Yes i am currently at 438 a perfect score in IELTS would bump it up by 3 points. Shall i go for it?[/QUOTE
I would say go for it. Try your best in everything so you know that no matter what happened you did it to ur best
Can I ask how did you manage a job offer?
