When you say no connection to them, could you please elaborate why in what terms you mean for Ontario?
Most provinces require you to either have a relative living in that province, or complete your studies from that province, or have a job offer / working in that province or were born in that province (some kind of connection to that province - take Manitoba for instance). However, Ontario does not require this connection, however, they invite people that they require based on their criteria.

It's working. I don't think any draw will happen today. What I suspect might have happened is, there is a long weekend coming up and many people are taking vacation due to spring break and this could have led Monday draw initially to avoid working during this vacation time. Just a theory though.
This is what most likely happened.

This may or may not have changed. I have seen people with NOC different from those listed above getting NOI from Ontario. So this could've been a one-off thing, though it certainly doesn't hurt to be in one of these NOCs.

Hi Folks,

Since OINP invitations were sent to 480 people from 351 - 446 CRS we again have 480 people at the front of the queue. So assuming bimonthly draws what CRS shall we expect in the next draw definately more than 446?

Your welcome.
I am sorry, maybe I am wrong. That's how I understood. Maybe job offer for occupations other than the list above was also given NOI. Please refer http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html

They don't have the 600 points yet, they were only invited to apply for OINP. They have 45 days to send their application, and then Ontario takes up to 90 days to process and give nomination to those approved. Only then will they get the 600 points for EE. Also not all the candidates that received a NOI go through with the process (many prefer to wait for a direct ITA and see it as a backup plan).

That list is from a targeted selection that took place last year. It may or may not be the targeted NOCs still. It seems this week they focused on people with job offers and people with good french level.

7 in writing is fine Nitin. you need 8777, where 8 in listening and 7 in rest. after that it only effects by 2-3 points.
I got 8 in listening and speaking and 7.5 in reading a b writing. When I put total points in my score would raise by 5 marks which I think is a huge difference ! So in gonna do it over to get higher score
