That's a good question! They probably processed no more than 100 applications this month. They could be doing this on purpose - give a few nominations to people on FIFO basis and the rest will be issued based on labour market.

I think they are doing without any rules. Get instructions every morning and do accordingly.

OR they are waiting for everyone's work permit to expire and then call and say they cant process application b/c of that..
i wonder how many of us here whose WP is already expired or soon to be expired...
i dont know who got nominations this month but i m sure they already used 450-500 nominations..

Mine doesn't expire any time soon but it doesn't make it feel any better cause I am tired of living like that.. I stopped making any plans.

mine expires in August. I am not going to get any nomination. I am sure there are still 5000 applicants remaining for November/December 2013.

trust on god.. we definetly will get something in 2-3 months..i think u, me ,phil are all around same timeline.. so ya we will see each other for long time... keep praying....

I wonder what kind of human beings are working at AINP... Putting us on hold for years..what the *censored word* is wrong with these people omg

What really pisses me off is that they are bringing 280,000 people this year while sending us back. where is the logic??

Guys, it is so clear. Nobody is putting anybody on hold, it is just process of balancing increased level of "non qualified" residents. I will explain: last year, for example, there was huge amount of pgwp holders (who have Canadian education, high ielts results, bachelors/masters from their countries, skilled work experience from their countries, etc.) who came to Alberta in hope to get PR, so government prefers to keep those more then TFW. Which is a kind of fair, i think.

You mean PGWP is being treated nicely? Please have a look at the time line. PGWP is the worst. I dropped my AINP application on January 30/2014 ( that is today- I successfully competed one year of application). I have only file number since then. That is it. How PGWP being treated nicely? I could not understand.

Which category did you apply, Strategic Recruitment Stream - Post-Graduate Worker Category or International Graduates Cat?

hmm, but the article is about TFW?!!!

So what? All PGWP holders and TFWs are in the same boat in Alberta. Yes we don't have to leave on April 1st but our permits have an expiration date on them too

Today I successfully completed one year of my application to AINP. Walking through a dark tunnel is still on, no light coming out from other end of the tunnel. :-[
