i received file no in jan 2016. i got married in feb2016. i added my spouse name to my file and send the documents a month ago.
can someone help me that do CIC send any email to inform me that my spouse is being added. Or how i could know whether they have added
my spouse with my PR application or not. please help me

What happen if my passport expire while I am wating for PR?

Hi Nine20, are you an inland applicant?

Well basically, you have to ensure that your passport is valid at all times. So it has to be renewed ASAP.

Still waiting for ME ...I even did not know where is my VO office

Here's one way to check the status of your CIC application.

1. Go to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

2. Click (Continue GCKey) blue tab ---- this is the one i used.

3. Sign Up

4. Select (Link the existing account)

5. Enter all required info

6. For English Test detail, use the following if you don't have the info handy:

Test: None
Test ID: 000
Test Date: CIC application received date

(for few it works but not for all)

I tried this and it worked or at least it gave me an option to link my account. i ahve a representative thats why i didnt proceed. I have to remove their access to acces it myself.

Anyway, please try with your name and birthdate as the search criteria coz for me thats the only time the system found my application and gave me the option to link it to my account.

At first, i'm tried searching using my application number / UCI the result that the system gave me is no application found.

I have heard about this case. I know about 40 people who are currently working on the meat plant. And, they are still waiting for MR. Most of them sent their applications on September-November.
