I just want to share my experience... Submitted my PR card renewal application online = Aug 12, 2023 I received my renewed PR card in the mail on = Jan 12, 2024 As of today, the status of my application online is still "SUBMITTED" :D))

jimshady is right. but for my case, i was just a bit lucky that I didnt have to go to the port for clearance. I just emailed them the "Goods to Follow" document that I have and stamped by the Customs during our landing about 3 years ago.

Thank you sunnygshah ! Regarding the proof of funds, prior to our landing, I learned that when you applied under a certain category, with close relative sponsorship, you will not be asked to show any proof of funds upon landing. True enough, on our landing, nobody asked us about funds, but yeah...
