my parents application, we received letter from cpp-m confirming that the file received is complete and is in que for processing receieved on 30 may 2012. my parents are in india. lvo should be new delhi. Since then nothing we have heard from CPP or LVO. do you think file has been transfered to new delh? if yes how soon we would receive medical and passport request?

You are suppose to receive 2 letters. So far you have received only one like me....your file is still here in missisauga and you will recieve another letter (Approval letter) then your file will go to either LVO or CPP-O. When did you send documents? Do you have any dependants?

Wow!! Your file processed super fast! I think India has faster processing than Pakistan. My application is July 2009 (dependents) and just received the AOR, no approval yet. Do you have dependents?

I did all 3 but I noticed the difference within 1 day of faxing

Can you please share your time line. Do you have dependents? Based on my timeline,if you don't have dependents, once ur file trasnfers to ND, it takes about 3 months to ask for PCC and another 3 months for Medical and passport. If you have depedents, it takes much longer. It also
depends on ur original timeof application.

You answered your own question.. In our case, we didn't send the PCC until ND LVO asked for it. From Google Doc, I see your time line. Your original application was in September 2008. That also play role. Most of the cases from 2008 received request for additional documents in November 2011. That doesn't mean every single of them will be handled in same time frame. They also use priority based on the your original application date. Being said that, there are still some cases from 2007 that are still waiitng in ND LVO for Visa as they dependents or they were asked for additional documents by ND (Option C or other Tax documents). So it is hard to generalize it. It is case by case basis and also based on the priority. I hope it makes sense.

Medical results have been received.

CIC local visa office at New- Delhi asked for original passport with Medical request in 7th July 2012.

any idea do we get visa stamp very soon or CIC will ask parents to do some more Medical test?

Congratulations!!! Step closer to Visa!! I think based on what I havae seen, "Medical results have been received" means CIC accepted your medical results. Next step
is Security check and once security check is done, ND LVO will stamp ur passport with Visa. Not sure how long will that take as we haven't any seen any case from ND LVO approached this step yet.

When did you complete the medicals and when did ND LVO received your passport and copy of medical completion form doctor? I am just to trying to come up the time it took them from receiving the medical results to updating ECAS to Medical received. In our case, We received letter for medical request on 07/27 but letter was dated 07/21 and my parents did the medicals on 08/14/2012 and they mailed the passport along with copy of medical form to ND LVO on 08/15/2012 and they received it on 08/16/2012.

E-case status changed - Medical result have been received on either today or last Tuesday but i checked today online and came to know.

Question: Medical result have been recd means CIC accepted Medical for parents or they are going to ask again to do some more test?

I recieved a letter by mail today which says that my application is now complete! So happy! I don't have even access to the "check application status" page so don't know what is going on online!

Very good news. Could you please let me know your parents file transferred to Ankara or Iran for request the passport for issuing visa after Ottawa received medical test.
My mother leaves in Iran August 22, the medical test is done , doctor said he will send the result to Ottawa .
Just I am wondering about request passport , how long will take? Where she should go for visa Iran or Ankara?
I really appreciate for your respond.

Rick, I learned from a CIC call centre agent that "Medical Results Received" means exactly what it says. It doesn't mean that your medical is accepted nor rejected. All you have to do right now, like all of us here, is to wait. You are not alone waiting. Good luck.
