Just to clarify: the "Decision Made" refers to my mother's application. My sponsorship application was approved in January 2012, then my mother was asked to take the medical exam (which she did in February 2012) and since March 2012 the E-cas for my mother was "In process" (with extra information that "Medicals were received" and "Application is in process since ..."). Then on August 4th I saw that there is "Decision Made" on my mother's application and the only information given was "Our office will contact you concerning this decision" but no information was given whether a letter or an email would be sent (or has been sent). I emailed CPP-Ottawa twice since August 4th but I've only received the automatic reply that they send to all emails. Please note that in April I did receive several responses from CPP-Ottawa by email when I updated the address for my mother and also when I inquired (by email) about the status of her file (they replied that "The file is complete and once an officer will finish reviewing the case, they will contact you if they require any additional information" and then there was nothing new until I've seen "Decision Made" on E-Cas).

From reading your very nice forum I noted that (at least) two other people are in the same stage as I am: the users Mockava and Northclare - I guess they also didn't receive anything yet from CIC?

That gives me some hope. My time lines are very close to yours, So I can expect decision made soon, fingers crossed.

Yes that is right, we have same days for decision made, and same update format on ECas. Still no letter, still nobody contacted neither me(I am a representative) nor my mother in law re decision made.

Thanks a lot for your reply! Please let us know when you'll receive a letter or an email from CIC - I'll do the same as soon as I receive something from CIC.

One thing is for sure if you have dependants on your file your file will definately go to LVO.
No dependants? 80 percent chances CPP-O but sometimes goes to LVO.
Medical request? depends on your LVO...from 3 months upto 18 months
where is your LVO?

Not sure it's a good news or bad news....

My timeline:
Dec 2008 --- Submitted sponsorship application
Mar 2009 --- Acknowledgement letter
Mar 2012 --- CPC-M requested additional documents
Mar 2012 --- Docs submitted to CPC-M
May 2012 --- CPC-M requested my birth cert (which I was submitted in Dec 2008), resubmitted the same month
July 2012 --- CPC-M informed docs received in Mar 2012 :O
Aug 2012 --- CPC-M letter said I met sponsorship requirement & parents application has been forwarded to Singapore (parents are Malaysians)

I heard S'pore is super slow in processing, not sure if it is true... Also, some people are commenting CPC-O is slowing down now. I am confused why mine was transferred to S'pore vs my friend who applied the same month as me, his parents file is being processed in CPC-O instead of China. Does CIC has any consistency in processing time and procedures?

You are talking about PR decision, not sponsorship, right?

Same for me, It changed to decision made on Aug 04,but still have not received it. Also it does not say when the letter was send, it just say " immigration will contact you re decision" .

I have also similar situation E-cas shows " Dicision Made " since 4th August but still not received any mails or E-mails. I am worried and my parents are here in Canada on TRV. What should i do ? Email them or wait ?

You guys are lot closer to getting ur Passport stamp with Visa!! Most of you guys are CPP-Ottawa cases. Hopefuly, Ottawa will inform your
LVO soon and LVO will ask for passport in order to stamp Visa!

I applied for my parents sponsorhip in Oct 2009
I received the Sponsorship approval letter and my file was transferred to CPP Ottawa on July 19th 2012

I have not received any communication since then..
What will be the next communication...
Can the experts guess when can i expect a request for medical

Wow!! Your file processed super fast! I think India has faster processing than Pakistan. My application is July 2009 (dependents) and just received the AOR, no approval yet. Do you have dependents?

Delhi replied to my email ( sent on June 19 ) after 2 months
It was about wrong email entered by them in the original app, and me sending IM5476

my parents application, we received letter from cpp-m confirming that the file received is complete and is in que for processing receieved on 30 may 2012. my parents are in india. lvo should be new delhi. Since then nothing we have heard from CPP or LVO. do you think file has been transfered to new delh? if yes how soon we would receive medical and passport request?
