Hello all
Im trying to fill imm5562
my parents have travelled to canada twice and in one of trips stayed for more than 6 moths.
i will include their trips in travel history but do i need to change their address to canadian address while they were visiting us in canada?

Hi guys,

Questions about personal history for principal applicant- if retired for the past 10 years do they have to fill out visits to Canada for 6 months or more (visitor extension) or that would have to go under travel history ?
My mom who is a principal applicant stayed in Canada during covid and had her visitor visa extended during that time so I guess that would have to go under personal history since she stayed in Canada over 6 months but all the other 6 months visits would have to go under travel history ?
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Also if I don't remember exact dates/months but will not leave any gaps, it should be fine? They don't go into details as checking exact dates?

Thanks! :)

There is a link for 5406 but not 5669. Actually the 5406 link is 404 not found.
I have submitted the older version of 5669. That's what it shows when you google the form. I resubmitted my additional documents on Monday and tried to connect to IRCC.

Hello,

i got an invitation for PGP 2024, I applied for it in 2020. Now I am in the process of completing application for it, I have few queries which are listed:

1. in Additional family information form they asked my fathers parents and siblings info, now few of them don’t have birth days and months, should I put random days and months or add a letter of explanation to state that situation?

thank you

Hello, I submitted my interest of sponsor my parents in 2020 but I did it separately for each one of them as they got divorced. Now I received an invitation to submit an application, but I’m not sure for which one of them this invitation is.
How can I know?

Thank you

You can do it for both of your parents and You’ll need to submit separate applications for your divorced parents.
You can even apply for your grandparents under the same interest of sponsor but as separate application.

Yes...it's in the instructions to put the year as 1900 (I had to put 1900/01/02 - i.e. January 2nd, 1900, in order forit validate. And then add a letter of explanation.

Thank you !! I am matching up the entry dates and putting all of their travels including short ones in Travel history .. But you suggest I put travels which were over a month in IMM5669 Personal History section as well??

No....personal history is more about where you lived and your employment status (unemployed, employed, in school). Any travels go in the travel history form even if it was for a longer period of time (my parents visited canada for 7 months - still put that in the travel history section). They didn't move here, it was just a long visit. There were here as visitors. So 1 month should be put in travel history

Ahh I am so confused now because initially that is what I thought but I saw other forums and whatsapp group where they say to put all travels for long period of time in the personal history as well.. My mom would stay in Canada for a year at a time but she would leave after 6 months either for short trip or go backhome for a few weeks and then come back to Canada so technically it would be 1 year and that's what she did for a few years until we got a super visa.. I just feel what is the worst that they can do, they can send me a request to fill it out again and ask not to put trips there.. Don't know now what to do .. I have it filled out with all the trips in both forms just to be safe ..

I also noticed in the other group chat that they are now requesting new versions of some forms : IMM5669e and IMM5406e .. Has anyone who has already submitted received same requests ? And also requesting that some forms be printed and signed by hand despite the guide stating that it should be signed electronically ?
