I received the following request for IMM 5768 today from CPC Mississauga. I am confused because I submitted this with my application. Should I resubmit just in case?

Also it only mentions my fathers name(principal applicant). Not my mother

Letter from CIC asks for the following:
Please note that the following documentation will be required for your sponsorship application to determine whether you meet the minimum necessary income requirements to sponsor a parent or grandparent. In order to minimize processing delays, if not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible: • A completed and signed authorization form – IMM 5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship providing your Social Insurance Number. o If you selected “Yes” to the Statement of Consent on this form and provided your Social Insurance Number, you authorize IRCC to request information from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in regards to your, or the cosigner’s (if applicable), income tax information for the three consecutive years immediately preceding the received date of your application.

On the Brightside, the letter contains the Application number. However I tried linking to the GCKey, but it cant find the record for my application. Did anyone else have this issue?

Its possible that they can come simultaneously but not necessary on the exact same day. My parents received the 3 letters on March 13 (Biometrics), March 15 (PCC) and March 19 (Medical), and had 30 days to complete them. Which means if they had to do everything simultaneously they had until April 12 to complete all 3.

But on March 13 they did not know that the other two letters were going to be issued that same week. Besides every case is different depending on the visa office and how many files they're processing, in what order, etc.

Hi everyone, pls is the XF…… application number a temporary app number? Just wondering cos it appears on the two emails requesting for additional documents. Thanks in advance for any response.

Perhaps my questions are pretty dumb ones. I got invitation to apply for my parents today for 2024 intake after waiting for 13 years yes 13+ yrs . I have few questions if any of the experienced folks from 2023 can share please

1. The invitation says sponsor and the principal applicant would need to submit the application. Is it me who should register in the portal with my email and apply or both me and my father who is principal applicant need to use his email to register?

2. On 2nd page of invitation pdf where it shows the number with bar code for interest to sponsorship: You must upload digital copy of this page in Addional supporting document. How would you take the digital copy of that particular page only and upload?

3. In the required document checklist it has
“Parents and Grandparents 2024 invitation to apply letter” what letter is this in fact. The letter I received from IRCC or the personal letter I would need to write to IRCC??

Congratulations on getting the most awaited invitation and wishing you all the best with your application. In regards to your questions:

1. I would suggest your father to register in the portal with his email address and submit the application accordingly.
2. You may use a compatible pdf editor to extract the page with the bar code or can print the whole document and scan the barcode page only if you don't have access to a pdf editor.
3. Yes, this would be the letter that you received.

if you submitted earlier the form, no need to provide again. this is their general email.

yes. that's a temporary number. When all of your additional documents are received and they accept them, your application number will change to start with just "F".
That's then entering into the AOR state.

Can you share your timeline. What is the next step after AOR

Here is my timelines.
Submitted: Nov 17, 2023.
AOR: May 2nd, 2024.
Biometric letter: May 15, 2024.
Sponsor eligibility letter & transfer of file to Vancouver office : May 16,2024
Biometric completed: May 17, 2024.
Nothing since then.
