PGP 2023 Intake Announced

For the 2023 intake, we’ll invite potential sponsors from the remaining pool of interest to sponsor forms submitted in 2020.

Between October 10 and 23, 2023, we’ll send 24,200 invitations to apply to potential sponsors. Our goal is to accept up to 15,000 complete applications.

If you’re invited to apply, we’ll email you using the email address you put on your 2020 interest to sponsor form.

Hello thanks for thé note. Just want to know how do we proceed to get in the pool. Start thinking about sponsorship of my mum recently but don’t know where to start to send an interest. Any idea? Thanks in advance

Next fall, IRCC will announce the PGP programs requirements. It will either open up to new profiles or continue to select from the current pool. If it opens to new profiles, you submit a profile if you are eligible (meeting LICO for the last 3 years with NOAs) and put your name in the pool. Your parent may be selected or wait several more years like many people.

Thanks for the information. Just for my reference, when was the last time they open the pool? Any idea? I may look for super Visa. Got my mother in law in Canada with visitor visa right now and trying to extend her stay here. Thanks
