Since July 31, 2018 applicants from Europe, Middle East and Africa, need to give their Biometrics.Hey, anyone experienced this before:
So we are 2nd round applicants. Just got a request for bimometrics collection today.
Thing is, my parents did their previous biometric scan in 2015 for their Super Visa, and that should be valid for 10 years according to their policy.
How come they are asking for that again now???
The bio metric requirement came affect for Asia last year but was not applicable fr India at that time I believe if i am right! I confirmed it with CIC offer too on the call. This is not entirely true. The biometric requirement came into effect mid-year last year (around July I believe), so anyone in second round (like USK) has that rule apply to them.
yes I am waiting for it too. Please let me know once you get any update. ThanksCool.. So that means we are in same boat. We have exact same timelines. I am thinking next week our status will be changed to DM.
Glad to see it worked for you. !! Good LuckYou are a genius!!!! Thank you it worked lol. I was putting 1 for number of family members on the application as we are sponsoring her, not thinking that my husband and I should be included in that number!!!
I hope it is right and waiting for any news soon...This likely means you are approved as sponsor and now PR evaluation of the parents is starting, so application is received by the LVO processing them.
could you share your entire timeline?Hey, anyone experienced this before:

I just answered what i'm able to:Hello Fellow Members,
I submitted interest to sponsor my parents on Jan 28, 2019 for PGP2019.
I read the application forms to be prepared with the information (In the event that I get invited to apply).
My family dynamics is as follows -
Myself - Sponsor (I am single)
My Father - Principal Applicant
My Mother - Dependent
While studying the forms, I have come up with following questions -
a. In form IMM0008 (Generic Application Form for Canada)
Application Details -
Question 3 - How many family members, including you, are on this application?
My answer is 2. I am pretty confident about this but still would appreciate if somebody give me 2nd opinion on this.
Personal Details -
Question 3 - UCI. I guess I have to leave it blank as I do not have a UCI number yet. (Please confirm this as I am not sure).
Question 10 - Current country of residence of my parents is Canada on status Visitor (Parents Super-Visa). However I do not understand the "From & To part"
Question - Further in the form it asks - "Do you have a national identity document?" What document would be considered a National Identity Document for an Indian Citizen (East Indian).
I would really appreciate if someone could clarify my doubts and point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!
Have a nice day!
take an online appointment on india passport website, go to the passport office, if you are lucky they might give it you right there and then or else they will send your file to the police station you have chosen online.....once u get a message from the passport office saying your file has been sent to the police station, i suggest wait for 2-3 and then head to the police station and ask them to expedite.hello everyone, Just wanted to check if there is a particular format for pcc for parents? where do we actually apply for the pcc ? passport office or police station?
As @UPPI indicated that his parents in canada on Super Visa... and this means they have got assigned a UCI(Unique Client Identifier) number and it should be on the VISA stamp... pls see an exampleI just answered what i'm able to:
Question 3 - UCI., yes, leave it blank and it will be generated in your AOR.
Do you have a national identity document?, yes, the ID number on Indian Citizenship Card or something similar. The reason why is to help CRA to track the applicant's global income afterwards, as per my accountant.
