No I don't think they lie... Their organisation is just rubbish that's all... They have no idea what's going on...and it's people who are suffering...

Good to see writing works (sure you got to write 20 times to get 1 reply...3 months late...) Let's just hope we'll get a decent reply to our letter too... It really feels like we'll be the last ones here... And to say we were the first to send all our documents, no extra docs required or anything, and now this...
What angers me the most is that if we're asked to attend an interview in London (and of couse no idea when...), why choose US who live on the north coast of Scotland, while a lot of applicants are in London itself?!? For us it means 3 unpaid days off work at least.

Anyway sorry about the rant. Don't want to ruin your (relative) joy, Ed! You must be excited, like you say the ball is finally in your court, let's see how quickly they can get you sorted! We're in this together.

@ Edupolo, congrats mate on receiving some kind of correspondence, at least it's better than not knowing anything, i have strong belief that as soon as you send your additional meds, you'll received PPR within a month. You'll definitely be dealt with by July.

Today one more London applicant, his nickname is Mrprice received PCC.
His application was filled on 07.09.2007 and Meds were requested in August 2009.
Meds done in Sept.2010.
His timetable is very close to Ottawa people.
Pray God to send us good news.
Edupolo, I feel that my Meds were lost or somehow are forgotten, so you aren t
alone, my Meds will expire in 20 weeks, but still there is no sign of Meds Received in e-cas.
I think, that in 1-2 weeks I should write one more time to CPP-Ottawa and enquire about Meds.
Another problem is with my elder son, he got offer for admission from University of Toronto and
we were planning to land in Canada this summer as permanent residents.
But now we have dilemma -to send him as foreign student alone or to get a bit more patience and
continue to wait for PPRs.

After reading all your posts, yes, it feels a bit like a relieve to get some kind of answer... I just hope that once things are sent back to them I dont have to do all this again.
This time they asked me to send it to London though with an LON reference number instead if my actual case. I have the feeling they really over complicate things.
Will let you know more once I get this done.

So, we went to the specialist today that our designated doctor advised us on and he will send these details back to the designated doctor who will notarise it and send back to CHC London tomorrow... and after £300.00 later we are back to waiting... 14 weeks to go on Monday before medicals expire.

I am scared of adding up all the money this immigration process has cost us. The funniest thing is that my work colleague who is Canadian keeps asking how ti can be so difficult and expensive to immigrate there, when it seems so easy to immigrate illegally haha I guess that happens in every country, hence why illegal immigration is never going to stop around the world.

Oh, well! I am way too legal anyway.

I just checked my e-cas and it still shows that my application has been submitted since sep. 2007, but the only change is that they have added my address which was never there before !!!

Why they have only added my address and didn't change the status although I have already submitted all the requested documentation in July 2010 :

Any ideas from experts please ??

Ya that's perfectly normal, it's happening due to transition of system from CAIPS to GCMS, so nothing to worry abt that, doesn't necessarily means that there is an update on your case.

Today by the Grace of God, I have received my passports with the beautiful, long awaited VISA!

I would like to thank each one of you for your support and prayers during this process.

Please find my complete timeline below :

September, 2007 : Application filed
3rd October, 2007 : AOR received
8th March, 2010 : Documents update letter/ File transferred to Ottawa (Documents sent on 9.6.11)
29th June, 2010 : More documents/ some clarifications requested
6th October, 2010 : Medical Request (Medicals done on 26.10.11)
4th March, 2011 : Passport Request (Passports sent on 9.3.11)
30th March, 2011 : Visa Issued (Passports received in hand on 20.4.11)

This whole process has taken me exactly 42 months.

I pray that all of you going through this process may soon receive your visas.

Yes it took me 20 days to recv my PPs since my DM showed on ecas.
