Hey Schwarzeradler,
I went for Vodafone, I thought they have the most competitive online deals for new customers. They were the only ones who offered 12 month contracts, which was my only option, and it comes with the iphone by paying a slight premium depending on what tariff you go for. I was with o2 for 7 years and I do not recommend it, they are not as competitive and their customer service has been really bad for me at least. Bear in mind I went for a plan with lots of minutes so I did not have to pay much for the handset.

hope this helps.

Appreciate your help, thank you. Lots of minutes is my main need too. I'll check out Vodafone as per the signal coverage in my area, the main reason I went for 3 - Three 5 years ago.

Cheers

Hi everyone

I just checked my ecas status and it has been updated with meds results received. We sent these off on the 8th of Feb. Not sure if this helps with anyone else's timeline etc.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weekend!

It's good indeed, medical results have been received means your medicals has been reached and has been reviewed as well.

Guys, all booked and in process to sort out the stuff and selling of things here. Will InshaAllah be landing on 2nd May. Wify will be coming later from Pakistan probably after 2 months as she wanted to see her parents there.

Dad has bought a nice 3 bedroom house and a car already for me so not much stressed about landing and survival. ;)

Wish you all very good luck. Keep remembering you guys.

My e-cas still shows that my application has been submitted in Sep 2007, although I have already sent the documentation in July 2010 :o

Ya your Ecas will continue to show that until you get your meds done, than they would add the line "Medical results have been received".

They don't put the document receipt dates in Ecas nor any further movement.

Have you sent your docs. to CPPO-OTTAWA or London?

Don't worry receive MR very soon.

Dear Kur761,

We have similar case actually - our previous representative submitted our docs june of 2010 but Ottawa requested further documents in December and January 2011. Convinced that its better to handle our case personally - last February 2011 we have sent representative cancellation and was acknowledged by Ottawa.

Now appearing in E-cas - We started processing your application on March 7, 2011.

Good luck to all of us

Am glad ur all set to be there by May. I am also wrapping up and in process of finalising our exit from here.
Hopefully we will see u there by July.
Where will u be in canada, let me know?

ok, after bothering them and even writing to London as well, I managed to get some responses from Ottawa.
They sent me a furtherance letter via email.
My other half used to take an asthma medicine 2 years ago because of living in a very humid climate during the summer (South USA). They say they want to ensure that the reason for this is the weather and no other underlying illness.
We will organise it tomorrow (it should not be an issue).
Of course, they told us that this email attachment had been sent via mail. But then,... why could not they say to me months ago that they had sent it, instead of telling us to wait... once more, they either do not look at the cases or they just lie.
Anyway, at least we are no longer waiting, the ball is in our court until we send this report and then wait again. However, it all has to happen in 15 weeks, which is exactly why I had been putting so much pressure on them.
I thought you would be interested since I promised to post their response.

Dear edupolo,

Please be advised to do medical tests as soon as possible so that your application can be finalised within the validity of your medical examination results.

I have highlighted some portion of your post above please make it clear.

Good Luck !
