Dear ItsBeenLongNow,

My online status shows that "Application Received" and showing the receipt of application. Before that by mistake "Your meds. have been received" was coming. Now, it has been rectified by them.

to those who gave me an advice regarding representative cancellation, many many thanks

@kur761

we have the same case, the one in my ecas was also rectified same as yours, we got our AOR 27th September 2007.

for the 2nd time now, we are required to submit updated documents.

@ edupolo, welcome back. Ya our police certs can be asked again but isn't usually the case. They take the expiry of police certs as 1 year and sometimes depends on specific cases as 6 months. I haven't seen too many cases where they have asked for police certs after 6 months so we can relax on that bit for now. Other docs like language proficiency and proof of funds, these things never expires. CHC never asks for IELTS again if you submitted a valid one while submitting your docs and it expired afterwards, so no more IELTS business. POF can be asked at any time but it's usually before or with meds and usually not afterwards. I personally think that we won't have to send any more docs but they are just delaying our cases to quickly finalised June-July 2007 applicants. Our files what i believe are ready to be issued with visas !!

Dear journey2010 ,

You even have not been asked for supporting docs becasue I am also Sept. 2007 applicant and was asked to submit the required docs. in March,2010.

hi there,

they did ask, that was in february 2010 but we managed to send the supporting documents sometime in June since we moved back here in Philippines.

for the 2nd time now they ask for updated documents (3rd time if you include the february request)

i hope everything is well. all the best for all of us...

Journey, that's first time i am hearing that CHC has asked to submit docs three times, it could some additional docs that they would have requested and not full docs again?

unfortunately in our case they scrutinize our proof of funds, hence they keep on asking updated bank statements and explanation..hope this will be the last request...we are hoping for the best.. thanks (you are right its additional documents)

Hello all,
Yes, glad to be back even though I dont have any news.
I am very much looking forward to the response you get tomorrow (M+JM), since I am planning to do the same on 08 March 2011.
I hope you get good news. I am just so worried about the fact that theoretically, I only have 4.5 months to validate my visas!

To be honest I would rather not post the reply I just got from CPPO, at least you guys could keep hoping... well OUR hopes just took a serious blow 2 minutes ago. In their AOR back in April , CPPO instructed that "If you have not received any instructions from this office by February 7, 2011, you are requested to contact this office directly." So that's what I did...
So much hope building up around that date...

Well, brace yourself for their reply (proceed at your own risk):

Your file is still under review. We cannot provide you with a timetable for visa issuance at this time.

So that's it??? We've waited 10 months for that? Back in December we got told that "our file appeared ready for visa", and now we're just "under review"? Not a word about the fact that we can't access our e-case?

Back when we got transferred to CPPO, we were told that "Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to require on average 10 months to process at this office." Now to me an average means some take more, some take less... Should have said "a minimum of" instead...

OK so we weren't really expecting CIC to say "oh that's right, you're overdue, our apologies, here's your visa!"
But surely showing a little more humanity would have been nice.

Let the waiting game resume... Keep faith everyone

Hello. everybody,
I have a feeling, that approximately on March-April-May-June 2011,( respectfully to different applicants
with different timetables), finally everyone of us will get similar PCC request letters.
By this time our previous PCC-s will expire. and CPP-Ottawa will request more recent PCC-s.
So they will give us for this update 60 days, and surely all process will be postponed for as minimum as
3-4 months.

What I believe is, CPPO Ottawa has finalised our files and has no further info. By looking at replies that M+JM received, it seems that different people have answered his queries, as file ready for visa, in process and awaiting to be reviewed are entirely different answers. They have so much inconsistencies, that's unbelievable. All we can do is to wait really, i hope it's the game of couple of more months.

Dear all,

I have received my CAIPS notes today. Kindly explain the following which I can not understand:

File BF'D To: RET ON 16-11-2012;

PSDEC 9 15-11-2010
BDEC 0
OREC 0
SELDEC 0
MEDDEC 0
FINDEC 0

Regards,

Hi M+JM,
I am sorry to read your reply from Ottawa, even though it did not shock me, since I have not got much better responses from them in the two occasions when I had to contact them.

As you all know, in my case, I am running out of time, so I am waiting for the 08 March (which is my equivalent of your 07 Feb) to write to them and ask them what happens if due to their lack of time-management my medicals expired... do they overlook it, or just because they are not on top of things I have to be out of an extra £500? Why would they ask for my medicals in July then? and not in September or October like all of you guys? or was I the guinea pig of the group?

I agree with Ahmadtajwer that the guys behind the email system are all different people who barely look into our cases when we asked questions... but why offer the email service then?

I am quite down because my life is on hold due to them, to the point that I cant barely plan a holiday because I need to save my days in case I need to go to Canada to validate my visa, I do not even want to replace my curtains because what would be the point of bringing curtains to Canada and pay for that overweight... It sounds tribial, but I just want to vent out how they really hold the key for all my current decisions, and I still cannot see an end to this!

Agree with your comments Man. We are all in this same situation. Cannot plan holidays, cannot do this or that , hence the reason for questioning my sanity - like I wrote in another thread. I mean, I really feel insane and stupid sometimes that I have put myself into this situation and my whole life on hold just because I want to emmigrate from the UK.
Anyway, at least you Guy's have got just the last hurdle to cross. I believe that it's only a matter of a few weeks. They are going to stamp your PP's just a month or 6weeks to the expiry of your Medicals. This trend is quiet inherent to CHC London.
