Hello, everybody,
Today I got an e-mail from CPP-Ottawa:
"There is a disconnect between an application being processed and the verification status page. Please note
that your file is still on process and on normal processing timeline. You will be contacted when necessary
for any further steps or requests."
So it means there is still more processing.
Pray God let me and all of us be more patient.

For some reasons, mine is still working, it says In Process and under status it says We started processing your file in Oct 2007 and Medical Results has been received.

OK guys, answer from CPPO (I had sent a message to CHC London not CPPO, so it's strange that they should reply if they have not anything to do with our files anymore...)
short and to the point:

Madam,
You will be contacted when the officer reviews your file.

Well, let's wait then, what else can we do...

still unable to acces my e-case. This is really frustrating, I mean we're expected to wait 4 years with no sign, no contact and now no online status to check... Did I really apply for immigration or was it all a dream?

Lina-Ida and M+JM, thanks for posting. At least we now know that Ottawa is still dealing with our cases. Even if they'd transferred our files to London for final processing, I think we can still contact Ottawa and get replies from them (regardless whether these replies are meaningful or not ???)

Cheers.

Just occurred to me last night that all those whose ecase says "meds received" although they have not even been requested should definitely drop an email to CPPO - it could be that meds requests is deemed to have been issued as per other CPPO files but was lost somewhere? In anycase there's always the chance that this will make someone look at your file and realise it's about time they issued your meds request...

Ya, it's worth trying. Ecas status is playing for many with some applicants who haven't received their 2nd AORs yet, there ECas still shows Medical Results have been received where applicants don't even know if their documents have been received, let alone medicals. It's CHC London who's doing that mostly.

Quite confusing indeed, as far as status is concerned, that's not a true reflection of actual status, there are so many errors in it. Guys guess what, I emailed Ottawa telling them that I'm more inclined to move to Pakistan and wait there for final magic letter and if my file will be transfered to Pakistan or will it remain in Ottawa/London, to which they replied :

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the visa will be issued. You will be contacted by our London office in due course.

Please advise us of any change of address, telephone numbers, and email address.

Strange coz i didn't ask for any status update, I don't know why he was telling me that and still didn't answer my question.....

Ahmad thats the biggest confusion .
Whenever somebody writes a letter to them , the reply is always a Common Format and same wordings without emphasizing on the question asked.
I am planning to write them this week as well , lets hope god willing i get some positive and to the point reply .

I believe we r sailing in the same boat Ahmad . Even i was intending to go back to India now but i guess it would make our case more complicated and delay the process . So lets wait and have patience . What say ?

That's what exactly i gonna do now, I'll wait here coz if I go to Pakistan, it'll further delay the things.

I wanna share with you the reply from Ottawa office when I sent the same query about my e case like you.

Quoted,

Dear Sir:

E-Cas does not appear to provide accurate medical information for files in process at Case Processing Pilot-Ottawa Office (CPP-O). This will be attended to.

Note that the Normal Processing times for your file is 10 months from receipt at CPP-O of an updated application forms and supporting documentation. Please do not send status enquiry on your file if it is still within its Normal Processing time. The officer in carriage of your file will inform you in due course of any action being taken on your file as it occurs.

Thank you.

Unquoted.

Does any receive MR after updating in e case?

Kindly share your experience.

Regards,

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it is allowed to drop the agency which represents our case since we are not happy with their services. It is the second time that we are requested to submit updated documents. We applied in Sept 2007 as well but until now the medical request is still a dream.

Please share your thoughts. Many thanks

Agents, middlemen or whatever are always difficult and waste of money. You can always drop them at any time. When you do that, make sure you write to your CHC and tell them that you are not associated with that agent anymore.

Many thanks Ahmad for the enlightenment.

Please if you wont mind, can you guide me further.

The Case Officer is again requesting for further documents. Should I send the letter notifying that we have cut ties anymore with our agency together with the requested documents? or should I send a separate e-mail and change the address as reflected in my e-case (currently its the agency's address)?

Many thanks

I would say to send an email as soon as you are finished with your agent so that any further correspondances can come to you rather than your agent.
