I know i know...but they had said a few weeks in their last mail...how disappointing..
thank you
M+JM,

Don't worry. The way things are going, I have a feeling you'll be getting your PPR before February is over. And you can quote me on that once you get it ;)

Thanks again Nectar. I guess 42 months of total processing time is not that much later than 10 months since Ottawa received our documents. As long as they don't go beyond this date by too much ???

Regards
Yeah, Hopefully!! As long as they don't exceed the time limit mentioned in their AOR.

Dear Nectar,
Today I checked my e-case status and it showed, that they can't identify my file number.
There were written, that they can identify only files, that are in proccesing
I am also Sept.2007 London Office applicant.
Case was transferred to Ottawa, Doc. were requested in Febr.2010, Doc.were sent in June 2010,
Med. were requested in Sept 2010, Med. sent in Sept 2010.
All this months my e-case was blank till last days.
What did happen?
Why my file can't be identified?
I feel very anxious, please help me with advice.
What should i do now?
Please answer as soon, as possible.

Hi everyone,

We are Sept 07 applicant too and submitted the updated documents just days before the deadline set in June. We did not receive medical request notification yet but surprisingly as I checked my e-case, it says - Medical results have been received...

I hope we will get medical request soon...

Thanks

A lot of people on this forum are complaining about their online status not being accurate, or not being able to access it at all. Many people have got an entry for "Medicals received", and they haven't actually received a request for medicals. So I think that this thing is still not accurate. And to be honest with you, I don't think we should rely too much on the online status page as it is known to have many errors in the past.

As for the people who are not able to access the page at all, I suggest you wait for about a week, and then if you're still not able to access it, send them an email.

Good luck.

you're right, ahaboubi.
Lina-Ida, we have almost exactly the same date (except for documents which we sent in April), and same problem as you..

Anyway, from what I had understood when we were transferred to Ottawa last year, the pilot was only to last for a short (well, considering the whole immigration process...) period of time (I remember even wondering what would happen once those people would have to do something else!), and now that the period is over, we're all back to London, that's why the files are back "in process". So I think the Ottawa journey is finished for us guys, which scares me because it could mean that the "privilege" treatment we thought had is nothing and that we're now back in the huge pile of London applicants....
pffff...depressing....but let's not it get to us, lika you all said, it's moving forward :)!

Quite confusing indeed, as far as status is concerned, that's not a true reflection of actual status, there are so many errors in it. Guys guess what, I emailed Ottawa telling them that I'm more inclined to move to Pakistan and wait there for final magic letter and if my file will be transfered to Pakistan or will it remain in Ottawa/London, to which they replied :

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the visa will be issued. You will be contacted by our London office in due course.

Please advise us of any change of address, telephone numbers, and email address.

Strange coz i didn't ask for any status update, I don't know why he was telling me that and still didn't answer my question.....

yeah...weird answer...so what are you going to do? move or wait and stay...? they're not helping you at all are they? TO me it looks like since you applied in LOndon you can go and your file will stay there, especially if they say, "notify us of new address", etc, as if it's just a casual change.
I don't think it will affect you status really..
Good luck anyway!

Ya, they are not even answering that what'll happen with my file coz If my file will remain in London and if i get PPR in Pakistan than i won't be able to send passports from Pakistan as it's illegal to send passports from Pakistan by post. I guess I'll wait here..... :-\

Thank you very much, Ahaboubi and M+JM, for kind answers.
Still what is frightening me mostly is strange situation with my e-cas.
It is written "File can not be identified".
If it will be "in proccessing", I will not be too much anxious, but
my e-cas is very unsual, anyhow I have sent enquiry e-mails to London Office and
PCC-Ottawa.
In case, they will answer, I will immediately inform people of this forum.
Still I wonder, may be somebody else in Ottawa Group have similar to mine e-cas.

However, talking about our timelines, most probably, it will take in average, not less, than 44 months,
as it's mentioned in London Office site.
Also I have read information in other threads, that our Ottawa Group included 1500 files, so it seems
they will finalise our cases in April-September 2011.
Not too much close perspectives. May God bless us all.

Lina Ida, don't worry you're not the only one, we can't access our e-case status either, that's why I said earlier we're in almost exactly the same situation as you :)!
Well, thanks for contacting them, we did write to CHC LOndon, too, but not Ottawa. First to get a reply post it here, kay? :)
