OTTAWA Case Pilot Office - for 2007 London Applicants only

Well, it must be the london office cos I saw the receipt form the mailing company, so now I have to wait and see if ottawa can get anything out of London.

nothing has happened for ottawa applicants , you and m+m r lucky to get ur medicals , others are in que , lets all hope good things ( visa getting finalised by feb 2011 ) as earlier stated.

good thing you contacted them edupolo. As you put it at least it proves that CPPO is looking at our files, hopefully they will put some pressure on London to get moving. Will be interesting to see what they tell you, I think we will email them as well in a couple of weeks to inform them that we have done the medicals and that these should now be with London.

But if CPPO seems to be good and diligent, checking our files regularly as with edupolo, often giving same-day replies etc... Why are they still so slow at issuing med requests? How about the rest here who are waiting to get their meds done? My guess is that they are all waiting for some green light from London on individual cases.

Really hope the next few weeks hold good surprises for everyone (well you can't really call a "surprise" something you've been expecting for months...)

Hi M+JM,
Funnily enough, this is what happened: I emailed them to ask and they sent me an email saying they dont do AOR for medicals, which I thought it was a bit strange. Then, Ottawa were the ones proactively contacting me asking me if I had done my medicals becuase it had been over 30 days. I quickly replied saying yes, when and how... I told them that London had not replied to my email either.

Anyway, today Ottawa replied to my email and this was their response 'your medicals have been received by Health Canada'. I guess they don't want to lose their consistency for long emails. At least, I know they have them for sure, but do not expect a good response unless they are the ones needing an answer.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Kindly, I want to ask about my application status. In what stage do I stood right now? When I check my application on the Client Application Status The status is blank. I sent my documents update in the beginning of June 2010.

they replied today

Your file is still in process. You will be contacted when a decision has been made. Please remember to keep your address (both mail and e-mail) up to date.

Guys guess what, i asked them about my UK permit running out in Feb next year and should i go for extension or will i be hearing any good news from yourself and i got following reply,

Dear Ahmed Siddiqui:

Your medical examination forms will be sent to you shortly.

So i hope i'll be getting medicals shortly now. Probably in couple of weeks time, who knows. :

GREAT!! Exactly what "shortly" means will remain a mystery until you actually get the letter, but this is still great news! It looks like they've started to process the bulk of our applications, which is good news for everyone here.

Has anybody counted how many of us are under the same situation and actually in touch through this site?
By same situation I mean originally applied in London in 2007 (or before the changes of 28FEB2008), transferred to the Ottawa case pilot and hoping to get our PR by February/March 2011.
Is everyone here also on trackitt.com and viceversa?

Thank you, yes, we are probably just the tip of the iceberg as you say. I doubt they only selected 8 people.
I really won't believe it when this process is all over, what am I gonna do with my time
