Hello group admin.

For some reason the spread sheet is not allowing me to add the dates. I you could re-check the sheet settings that would be great. Thank you! :)

Are you referring to the November spreadsheet? In that case, I'm not sure what the issue is, seems to work for me.

PPR Received today at 1:30 am EST ;D ;D ;D

12th Feb 2016 applicant
NDVO
DM on 8th or 9th May 2016

This is God speed and we are extremely happy and joyful.

My wife is already in Canada on Visitor Visa and luckily they have given option of sending passport to Ottawa for stamping. Just dispatched her passport, 2 photos and the passport request letter along with an Xpressport envelope to Ottawa, should reach them by tomorrow.

Once we receive her stamped passport, can we go to a local office for her landing formalities or would need to go on a border crossing only?

If we have to go to the Niagara Falls border crossing, can I (Applicant's spouse who is already a PR) accompany my wife during the flag-poling process?

Anyone who has either got their landing formality done within a local office or flag-poling at the border, kindly share your experiences.

Cheers to everyone receiving DM and PPR :D

I am not sure where you live in Canada. But your local immigration office usually takes appointments for landing confirmation, no need to go to the border. But it's also possible you have a long wait time in which case you can go to the border.

I am not sure about accompanying her, I will let experts reply to that.

I think it is quicker just to go to border, unless it is super far, then I think you can make inland appointment, but it is longer to land. I would recommend to have weekend gateway in Niagara, land and celebrate :D

I am not sure about Niagara falls border, but when we were landing in Montreal airport I was allowed to wait with my husband and he was holding my hand the whole process :)

Hi guys I got PPR today. I feel like I'm dreaming.

Congratulations everyone, I submitted my application last month so its exciting to see that things are going fast for some applicants

I envy all the applicants who got their decision so soon. Waiting is so tough specially when you are missing your spouse too much. Is there anyone with the London Visa Office update? I think they are the slowest

Hey everyone!
We are still waiting...we received my partner's FBI check on April 28, scanned and emailed it to CIC Ottawa on April 29 and we mailed the actual copy on April 29 as well. We are hoping to get some good news soon as our GCMS notes stated that once they got the police checks our application will be approved. But it's still unnerving as we were unable to get my partner's Chinese police check and I am unsure how Ottawa handles these types of situations (as I mentioned previously we did mail his visa and proof of residence from that time and proof we tried to get the check but couldn't). Anyways congrats to all the new DMs and good luck to the rest of us still waiting! :)
